Admin	The Moshiach pt 2 Posted : 19 Jul, 2011 09:43 AM According to the Jewish Tanakh (where everything about a Moshiach comes from,) the Moshiach MUST be a literal human descendent from King David. "The Messiah must be descended on his father's side from King David (see Genesis 49:10, Isaiah 11:1, Jeremiah 23:5, 33:17; Ezekiel 34:23-24)" from pt 1.Thus, he cannot be God incarnate. Conversely, if Yeshua IS God incarnate then He cannot also be the Moshiach. How do Christians and/or Christianity rectify this problem? Post Reply

But we preach Christ crucified, but to the Jews it is a stumbling block and to the Greek ( and other Gentiles who do not believe) it is foolishness. I Corinthinas chapter 1 Post Reply

Jeff asked ~ Why do you profess to believe something the creators of the concept don't (i.e. that Jesus is the Jewish Messiah.) *** The Creator of the Concept is GOD not the Jewish People and GOD's Son is Yashua/Jesus whom was born a Hebrew Israel Jew...GOD believes it for He sent His son. As far as Jesus being the Jewish Messiah...well...He is EVERYONES Messiah...Jews and Gentiles that Accept Him and Profess Him as the Son of the Living GOD and the Messiah and Saviour...xo Post Reply
