16.Zechariah 1:17 ~ Cry yet, saying, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; My cities through prosperity shall yet be spread abroad; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.
17. Zechariah 7:7 ~ Should ye not hear the words which the LORD hath cried by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, when men inhabited the south and the plain?
Jesus changed many of the OT laws such as an eye for an eye to offering up the other cheek and he eliminated all the strict Sabbath laws and all the Levitical dietary laws and the laws concerning sacrificing of animals for sin since Jesus put an end to all sacrifices for sin. Jesus also added a new Love commandment as to loving your neighbor as yourself to Loving one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than to lay down your life for your friends. As I have shown with over 20 NT Scriptures Jesus also changed the prosperity laws. There were 613 OT commandments and their about 400 NT commands which all have to be obeyed with love just as Jesus loved us.
Can you quote any NT Scripture which contradicts the teaching of Jesus to the prosperous in Matthew 19:21 & Luke 12:33 "To sell all your possessions and give to the poor and you will have treasure in heaven; and **THEN** come follow Me."
Prosperity was part of the OT Covenant but the *NEW** NT Covenant is totally against the Prosperity Gospel: The NT Covenant inspired by the Holy Spirit also commands:
Hebrews 8:6,7,13: But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which He is mediator is superior to the old one, and is founded on better promises..By calling this covenant "NEW," He has made the first one obsolete!!
Jesus says to His disciples "Teach them to obey **EVERYTHING** I commanded" in Matt 28:20.
John 14:23,24: Jesus says, "If anyone loves Me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make our home with him. He who does not love Me will not obey My teaching."
I John 2:3-5: We know that we have come to know Him {Jesus} **IF** we obey His commands. The man who says, "I know Him," but does not do what He commands is a liar, and the Truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys His Word, God's love is truly made complete in Him.

We need to remember,The Word of GOD was first proclaimed to the Hebrews, not the Greeks.
To understand biblical prosperity,we need to be thinking as a Hebrew,in order to understand this.
To Hebrews,Prosperity was to have wide open space.
Knowing GOD
Peace
A safe journey
Not being attacked by enemies
Having a wife and a family
Friends
Good health
Strong children
Mostly in America, opps ( The Homeland )Remember the Nazis.
Mostly in this country people consider prosperity by wealth.
Yet the Word of GOD says this about wealth
Luk 12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.
I don't think the poor is more godly than the rich. Both have the choice to be godly and the rich are even empowered to do more godly things.
I love watching Joel Osteen cause I can't help but feel his annointing in bringing people to trust God. I think the church he leads is prosperous because he have faith in prosperity gospel. If you have faith as small as... so have faith in whatever way you want to bring people back to God, maybe prove that misery gospel is more effective, lol!

Meanie:
Another person which believes this guy LEADS THE CHURCH.
When Yeshua the GOOD SHEPHERD is to be LEADING the BODY.
I am not against people having wealth,
Just against those so-called Christians that FLEECE the flock of GOD,and say
'See how much GOD has Blessed ME'
Try that nonsense with the Believers in China that meet in the forests at night just to have time with Yeshua and his people.
These believers have only small portions of the Word, yet they cherish that Word with their lives.
Here in the Homeland, where the Word of GOD abounds as with no other country.
People live in FEAR of bringing even a samll verse of Scrioture to the meeting to share with one another.
For those that approach the word carnally or with the mind and the flesh
They will say it is a blessing to be poor, and in lack, the very opposite of the word of God.
Luke 12:33 the word always has taught that the man that gives to the poor as unto the lord will be blessed in this life and in the life to come. Whatever we do for the gospel we will receive for the gospel in this life and in the life to come.
Mr 10:30 But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.
2nd cor. 9:9 (As it is written, He hath dispersed abroad; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever.
10 Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)
11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
Notice what it says in context what it says to him that give to the poor, quit different from what has been posted.
your other scripture is not even in context of anything to do with finances.
Hebrews 8:6,7, 13 again is completely against your proclamation of poverty.
It is a better covenant built on better promises, you are saying it is less and that is better.
We also know the father is a God of increase not decrease.
James 3:4 is not concerning finances at all but it does expose the error, becuase if you ask according to the word, he will give you whatever you ask.
James 5:15 is rebuking the people for selfishness, not for being wealthy, love is never selfish, but not only that Jesus always taught it is better to give, because receiving is based on what one Gives.
Again the other scriptures have nothing to do with wealth.
Those that walk with the lord would not speak out against a minister of the Gospel at any time, nor would they mock the word of God.
Nor would they lie say man wrote the word of God, it was conveyed to man via the holy spirit from the throne of God, and it is of no man's private interpretation.
