No One Cares...

God has called us to teach our children about the things and Word of God and Jesus Christ, His Son...... but who cares?...

We are to find the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, visit and pray for the sick, and those in prison... but who cares?...

We are to heal and mend the brokenhearted, and preach the gospel to the poor and the lost, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recover sight to the blind and set those in bondage of their sins free ... but who cares?...

You know why no one cares?... because everyone is too busy being selfish, but we must be very careful about being selfish, and careful to be greater servants of the Lord... because if we don't... NO ONE WILL CARE!

He who has ears let them hear:

When Jesus healed the man by the pool, was not the pool surrounded by sick waiting for the Angel to stir the water?

Why did Jesus only heal him?

Did not Jesus say: I only do what I see the Father doing?

That incident is a manifestation of the gifts of the spirit.

Twosparrow, so sorry, but what you have posted that has NOT ONE THING to do with this topic as to my post of what Bishop said and what Jesus speaks in Matthew chapter 25, nor regarding what appears to be your post in opposition on the other pages 1 & 2 of this thread... Not even related...

But I will give you what James has to say about the subject of this topic as to what Bishop said, which is only quoting what Jesus speak in Matthew chapter 25, in case you didn't notice.

James says this firstly, that we are to be DOERS of the Word of God, and not just HEARERS, because when we are just hearing the Word and not DOERS of the word, puttign what we hear into action by faith we deceive our ownselves...

Secondly, James says If brother or a sister sees a person who is naked and in need of clothes, and destitude of daily food, and one of you says to that person, Go in peace, and may you be warm and filled with food. And you have not given the person in need not one thing to help meet those needs for clothes and food which are needed for the body, what has it profited you?...

Jesus says, when you have taken the time to care about a person so much that you provide what is needed to meet those daily needs, when you have done this caring to meet the needs of the homeless, the sick and those in prisons, and met the needs of the poor and needy... these are the least of these, Jesus said you have done it to Him.

Maybe understanding what Jesus says that the poor and needy represents Him, will help you to know that tJesus says this ain't being done otherwise, there would be no sheep to be called to His right hand, and the goats to be called to satnd on His left hand in the day of judgment...

The goats are the ones who did not know when they rejected giving to the poor and needy they were rejecting Jesus. Nor did the sheep know that when they did what was in their hearts to do, they were doing it unto Jesus.

Read what Matthew chapter 25 says for a better understanding knowing that...Obedience in the little things, is muchis better than sacrifice of big things... why is this? because obeying God's word is honoring His perfect will.

Thanks PJ, what 2sparrow posted about the man at the pool is about having faith to put it into action, and getting up and doing when you see the Holy Spirit moving in your direction and favor, instead of sitting back waiting on others to move you.

Ain't got one thing to do with what Bishop Jakes said, which is only what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 25...

Again, as I always say, There is nothing that can come up against the truth except the truth its self... and the Holy Spirit of God ain't gone lie to cover for nobody to make him/her feel good when they are wrong in what the word teaches... and That's Bible!

Sparrows --The Christian walk is not a "general" walk, but rather a highly specific walk as one walks in a personal relationship with Jesus and is obedient to what Jesus is calling them to do.

Me-- When we stick our head in the ground, and refuse to look around us and see what's going on, are we being obedient to Christ. I'm not arguing with you about whether we are to follow Christ. We are. What I am saying is that Bishop Jakes is stating that how can we declare are selves Christians if we are not willing to get out of our comfort zone and be used by God. In this case he used the example of the homeless and needy, through exaggeration. Yes, each and every one of us is going to be used by God differently. But when we fail to allow God to use us, then we are failing those around us.

(Sidenote, nothing to do with the above. I fail to see how Muslims and Buddhist feeding others prevents us from doing the same thing to, especially if God tells us too.

To Chevy and Dennis;

TD Jakes is a HEALTH AND WEALTH proclaimer;

He and many others prey upon the Biblical ignorance of the masses in order to manipulate them using guilt and their depravity to fleece the flock of GOD.

They skim money from the top and then say 'God has blessed me',

They use themselves by which others should measure themselves,instead of Christ being the plumb line.

Health and wealthers usually do nothing at their own expense,but rather they want to use others people funds with which do to what they do.

Health and wealth is not the REAL GOSPEL.

I do not despise people that have wealth,the right way.

I despise those that manipulate others in order to become wealthy.

Especially those that manipulate others and then say 'GOD BLESSED ME'.

So people do not let those people manipulate you,if you do they will try to take everything they can from you.
