Yes, James that be you!

In the spirit of Christian brotherly love I submit two lists to you so that your future posts may be more efficient. The first list is want we don't need. The second list is what we need.

Don't need verses proving the depravity of man

Don't need verses proving man cannot save himself

Don't need verses proving the election of man

Don't need verses proving God does not choose to save conditioned on works

Don't need verses proving Jesus gave his life for His sheep

Don't need verses proving the working of Gods Grace

Don't need verses proving the drawing of unbelievers by the Holy Spirit

James you have posted repeatedly on the above topics....WE AGREE! Yet you continue posting them?

However this is what we need from you:

Verses that prove God cannot work on the heart of a unbeliever to draw them to Him.

Verses that prove the act of accepting and agreeing with God who works on the heart of a man, is considered a act of 'good works' and something to boast about.

Need verses proving God's election is totality unconditional of all conditions other than good works

Need verses that prove Jesus died ONLY for His sheep.

Need verses that prove that God does not allow a man to ever refuse His Grace

VKWV, Asked:

"Tell me, twosparrows. What makes you different? Why is it that you accepted, but the unbeliever down the street didn't? What is in you that made you do better?"

--------------------------

Why did I hear and believe when another didn't? Some mysteries only God understands, however, I can tell you the Bible says; wasn't because of my good works, and I could never of done it myself, But....I DON'T see the Bible saying it was because I was unconditionally choosen before time began.

The bible answers it in this in hearing they would not hear and in seeing they would not see.

No mysteries it is right in the word, no you not Suppose Saul hardened his heart, and in his encounter he asked who are you lord, and the he became Paul as he believed and was saved.

Mt 13:15 For this peoples heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

PJ, I agree, however why do some see and hear and others don't? Why are some hearts hardened and others aren't. The deeper question is a philosophical one....Why do some for whatever reason reject God and why do some accept?

In this time between eternities, I don't think this this is a answerable question.
