SHalom SHalom Saints

i have been writting bible commentaries off & on last couple of years or so none of which by the i try to sell for money--just for witnessing tools & as a hobby--this time i would really like some input feel free to add any suggestions to it let's see what we can up with by resurrection Easter Day

"Pierced for love"

exodus 21

If the ox gores a male or female servant, he shall give to their master thirty shekels of silver If a servant was killed under such circumstances, the price of restitution was thirty shekels of silver, which was considered the price of a slave.

reminiscent of the goring ox is the goring bulls of bashan found in psalms 22:12 which reads

Many bulls have compassed me strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round

when i think of the "goring of a servant" it's the one & only suffering servant who humbled Himself having his hand's & feet pierced for our sins

Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him and with his stripes we are healed

Significantly, this was the same price Jesus was "sold" for Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty pieces of silver Matthew 26:14-15

Mat 26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,

Mat 26:15 And said [unto them], What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

 you have such a pleasant humor... no I wouldn't dare put paint all over your handsome face, but if you sat near me, I'm sure you would be wearing a plaid shirt, and that I would put paint all over it!

Seriously, It hink if you would clearly explain and define typology and its intent and concept, and what you're seeking, although I doubt it unless its about Calvin, but who knows maybe others will get invloved...

lol no sis ET i wasn't forced to wear plaid back in high school what did you do agree to fight :boxing: richard blackwell -- loser end's up on his "ten worst dressed women list":ROFL:

here let me be more specific with this "finished" commentary

to show ya what i am aiming for --

"It's no secret Jesus is God"

in judges chapter 13

the angel of the Lord announce's the birth of Samson the mighty

judge to manoah and his wife

Judges 13:3 Then the angel of the LORD appeared to the woman and said to her, "Behold now, you are barren and have borne no children, but you shall conceive and give birth to a son.

in Judges 13:6

Then the woman came and told her husband, saying, "A man of God came to me and his appearance was like the appearance of the angel of God, very awesome.

Judges 13:11 Then Manoah arose and followed his wife, and when he came to the man he said to him, "Are you the man who spoke to the woman?" And he said, "I am."

Intresting!! THE MAN who appeared to both manoah and his wife

said "I AM"-- could this be the same MAN who in John 8:58 said "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I AM." ??

well let's find out......

curious to who this angel of The Lord was, manoah inquired to find out

his name....

Judges 13:17 Manoah said to the angel of the LORD, "What is your name, so that when your words come to pass, we may honor you?"

so manoah got an answer and Here's the proof that it's no secret

Jesus is God.

the angel answers monah--

Judges 13:18 But the angel of the LORD said to him, "Why do you ask my name, seeing it is wonderful"

now notice the word "wonderful" here--in the hebrew the word wonderful

is "phi'iy (strong's concordance H6383 ) which means wonderful, incomprehensible, extraordainary

this same word "wonderful" is also found in the messianic prophecy concerning issa

which is found in Isaiah 9:6 which not only declares Jesus/Issa to be wonderful but also "Mighty God"

--For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

reading further down judges 13 monah and his wife realize

that they didn't see a normal angel but rather God Himself and here's

two proofs!!

Judges 13:19 So Manoah took the young goat with the grain offering and offered it on the rock to the LORD, and He performed wonders while Manoah and his wife looked on.

Here, the Angel of the Lord shows Himself to be God, in the sense that He did not need a meal but will accept a sacrificial offering made unto the Lord.

Judges 13:20 For it came about when the flame went up from the altar toward heaven, that the angel of the LORD ascended in the flame of the altar. When Manoah and his wife saw this, they fell on their faces to the ground.

as good jews realizing that this was God, the fell to the ground and worshiped Him!!

just as others did in the past Genesis 24:48 And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the LORD God.

Monah and his wife were terrified knowing that they had seen God and feared death and said..

Judges 13:22 So Manoah said to his wife, "We will surely die, for we have seen God."

this is a direct quote from

Exodus 33:20 But He God said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live !"

yet menoah and His wife went on to live and she give birth to sampson

Judges 13:24 Then the woman gave birth to a son and named him Samson; and the child grew up and the LORD blessed him.

4 time's in the book judges chapter 13 does it declare that Jesus/Issa is God!!

How did they live and see God??

The solution is simple--we cannot stare into the sun but we can stare at the sun's ray's without hurting our eyes-- that is what menoah and his wife were seeing was not seeing Father in his full glory-- but rather they saw His express image The Son of God the second person in the Trinity--Jesus Christ!! who like in the new testament became The Eternal Word dwelt amoungst men john

1:1,14 and they lived!!
