Saul was chosen by the people of Israel against what God had desired for them, yet He allowed Saul to be their king to prove His warning.
What warning did God give the people about Saul? And why did God reject Saul as being king over Israel? How does the relationship between God and Saul apply to our lives?
I did not say I don't realize what you are saying,
I say do not agree with it, because of what Jesus taught us.
You believe satan has to ge permission from the lord I do not, he wouldn't be God of this world if he did.
By the way Ella:
2Co 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
This word God is the same word that describes Jesus as God, this scripture is to the Church. not to the world.
You believe christians have no authority over satan also, even though the bible says otherwise
PJ, let's see if you will answer this question... What was the warning God gave to the people of Israel about Saul being king over them that came to pass?
PJ, you're playing dodge-ball with the questions of the topic. Its okay if you don't know the answer, but trying to filierbuster the answer ain't cutting it, by going off topic in a direction no where near the question or answer.
I've noticed this a lot on this fourm, when in doubt and a person does not know the answer, instead of just not responding to the topic, many will try and filierbuster their way through by taking the topic in a direction way off course...
Best possible way to respond is to know the answers, I Samuel chapters 6-15 is a good place to start reading for the answers to the topic..
PJ, God went along with the people's choice and made Saul king, but then reject Saul from being king over Israel... why did God reject Saul from being king over Israel?

Ella, it I believe what you said in god allowing Saul to be king is a poor choice of words, the people got what they wanted because they ask for Saul not because the father was trying to prove anything.
The all time statement that god is sovereign over all things is a lie.
The question should be who is the god of this world?
The question should be where is authority on the earth?
OK, PJ, you say the Father(GOD) APPOINTED Saul as king over Israel. But the Bible tells us that the people wanted a king and that THE PEOPLE were the ones who wanted and insisted that Saul be king over Israel, even AFTER Gid had warned them about Saul's behavior and how Saul would rule over them.
So why did God go ahead and appoint Saul as king over Israel AFTER warning the people that Saul would not be a good king for them?
Because the bible is true, and the lord gave them the desires of their heart just as the bible teaches.
It is not a matter of God allowing it as much as it is the people demanding it.
The doctrine of God allowing is a distortion of the truth.
The answers are in who the god is this world is and why is he the God of this world.
What are the spiritual laws established in the garden, that put satan in this place?
So did God allow it or did the people reap what they sowed?
Did Job reaped what he sowed?
Ella all one has to do is inquire of the lord in faith and he will answer this truth to whosoever will ask!!

So Ella am I to believe you, or the lord Jesus?

Ella I am very aware of what you are trying to say, just because I will not agree with you, does not mean I have not answered you.
We are to rightly divide the word of God
You said God can not Go against his nature, so explain how life gives death?
Now Ella there are the answers in black and white maybe we need a basic English lesson

This distortion is no different than the election lie.
It is your free will that believe as you do, but you have aproblem with your doctrine, you can not be a doer of the word.
