Just a Observation ~

The Catholics have Scripture,The Apocrypha. Church Tradition and the Pope

The Mormons have Scripture, Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, Doctrines and Covenants and the Pearl of Great Price.

The Jehovah Witnesses have Scripture in the New World Translation and the New World Bible and Tract Society.

The Seven Day Adventists have Scripture, Ellen White Prophecies and the 7th day worship.

The Reformed have Scripture, Calvin, Tradition and TULIP, The Doctrines of Grace

The Non-Denominational Protestant has Scripture only and the Holy Spirit.

This is just a quick oobservation, Feel free to affirm, reject, add to or subtract from the list.

Hilltop,

To answer about the Holy Spirit, yes other churches have the Holy Spirit, however as I am sure you know, some churches put more or less emphasis on the Holy Spirit as to guidance into truth. Some churches like the Catholic church rely heavily on 'church tradition' for guidance.

If you have the HS you are approved by God. Evidently their theology works.

Hilltop,

The Holy Spirit is given to imperfect people, not perfect people. If one wants to derive some kinda proof from God giving the Holy Spirit to particular people, I can think of only one for sure; God loves them and their heart is right for receiveing. I doubt it has much to do with their theology. (within reason)

Exactly, that was the point I was making. You singled those groups out and made it look like they didn't have the HS because you only listed the non-denominational group as having the HS.
