Selah. Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Psalm 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom�.*** Key WORD Wisdom *** Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life. Marie7 View Profile History	Prayer Posted : 17 Feb, 2011 03:29 PM Thank you to all who posted. As to my prayers there are times I will first worship and praise before I ask God for anything. There are times I cannot utter what I am feeling inside and allow the Holy Spirit to pray for me. I have been wondering lately though if there are times we dont stop short of an answer. Example of praying for healing. How often have you seen people pray for the healing of a person and tell them to profess the Word until their healing comes through? Maybe we don't cry out to God long enough until we actually see the healing manifested. I know many scriptures on prayer; this in not a question I ask because I dont read the Word and apply it. Two Sparrows I know the prayer Jesus gave the disciples is a model prayer. I understand that. Yes, there is time for fasting, times that God will answer prayer before we utter it and times when we think our prayers arent being answered but we stand in faith. There are times in my Spirit I know I can stop praying that God heard me, especially when I pray at church for others. I appreciate Flyby sharing his experience with answered prayer. PhillipJohn, I know where Jesus spoke that certain prayers would not be answered without fasting and praying. Fasting certainly moves our flesh out of the way so we can hear from the Lord.
