I recieved this email yesterday,,,, I will show you the letter and then lets us speak what our heart is saying,,, please join in this controversial subject. Letter, "Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001. Were people not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from the nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they? I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents. I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere belief of which is a crime punishable by beheading in Afghanistan. I'll care when these thugs tell the world they are sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while he screamed through his gurgling slashed throat. I'll care when the cowardly so-called 'insurgents' in Afghanistan come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques. I'll care when the mindless zealots who blows themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs. In the meantime, when I hear a story about a CANADIAN soldier roughing up an Insurgent terrorist to obtain information, know this: ,,,,,,,I don't care. When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank:,,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,, I don't care. When I hear that a prisoner who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you can absolutely believe in your heart:,,,,,,, I don't care. And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn you guessed it,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, I don't care!! One last thought for the day:Only five defining forces have ever offered to die for you: 1. Jesus Christ 2. The Canadian Soldier. 3. The British Soldier. 4. The US Soldier, and 5. In my human(sinful nature), I wanted to say AMEN to that email; but The Lord commands us to forgive; so that's what we must do. So This topic of love and not hating the wrongs and injustices of this world is so easy to fall into if we do not remind ourselves of where God has brought us from,,,, Very nicely put Revelation 22... Most of the United States hates what happened on 9/11; many Americans hate those who caused such great loss. Christians in America need to pray like they did immediately after the 9/11 incident. I'm guilty of not praying for the Muslims and for saying only bad things about them. God loves everyone and desires that all be saved, even the Muslims. May God help all Christians to realize that we need to pray for the salvation of the Muslims. May God help all Christians to be the witnesses they are called to be. There is no forgiveness there. We are always to love the sinner but hate the sin. The Muslim's Koran (I have been told) tells them to kill the infidels. That would be us. Our Bible says to love our enimies. That would be them. I think I would rather pray for the Muslims than to spend the rest of my life hating and fearing them! Just an opinion! Tammie Post Reply

I believe there are some guidelines drawn by GOD and Him alone, through His Word. :prayingf:Christians are not to believe in an eye for an eye but to turn the other cheek. The only dismembering of the body is to be figuratively by the person of the part that sins ex: plucking out my own eye or chopping off my own limb.:applause: :prayingf:Christians are to be angry, yet, sin not. We are to realize that our anger does not accomplish the righteousness of GOD.:applause: :prayingf:Christians are not to return evil for evil but to pray for those who spitefully use us and bless those who persecute us.:applause: :prayingf:Christians are not to avenge themselves, but to leave it to GOD, "For Vengence is mine saith the LORD. I will repay.":applause: :prayingf:Christians are to realize the laws and lawmakers are servants and appointed of the Most High (regardless, of what the servant thinks). They are there for us to live in peace and safety. And sometimes to achieve safety; war becomes the necessary against people/nations that have declared it. :boxing: :prayingf:Christians are to realize and continually pray for those who are authorities to be peace officiers and even maintainers of peace keeping forces (military) through the earth used by GOD to destroy despots, plots of genocide, advocates of anarchy, creators of chaos, etc...:prayingf: :prayingf:Christians are to recognize GOD is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
