No one here has addressed the question of who caused 9/11. Are we sure that it was the Muslims? Might it not be our government, a NWO somewhere, some other group of people? All of this hullaballoo about Muslims is a sideshow to distract us from the real issues around. It is meant to do that because it was all planned that way.

I've never been to NYC but even as a European I disagree with the idea of letting Muslims build a mosque in the ground zero.
Religious tolerance and freedom have lately been a big issue, of course. I am wondering though why we christians always have to be the tolerant ones?

And I am reminded of what one of Turkey's PM's once said: that Turkey wants to join EU so that they might defeat christianity in Europe without even using a sword/weapons. They will make use of our own laws (one example - letting all these muslims come and settle down and have 8 children/family while the average European family has just 1). The European white christian population is dying. We are erasing christianity from EU constitution, we forbid people to wear crosses or other religious symbols, we remove crosses from schools and hospitals for the sake of non-christians whose religius feelings could behurt. But we don't feel offended when Jesus Christ and his church is pushed to the margin of any social and political life. There's definitely something wrong with our being tolerant.
We don't need violence, crusades and book burnings. What we need is more common sense and lots of prayers.

Now, as to whether burning the Koran is a good idea -- we have first amendment rights in this country. If we can burn our own flag, you'd better believe that burning a book is legal.
As for not insulting the Muslims, give me a break. Do you know what's in that book and what it says? It sure isn't holy -- unless you believe that telling people to convert, be oppressed, or die is holy; unless you believe that a woman has half the value of a man, that taking slaves is holy, that pedophilia is holy, that lying is holy (taqqiya), and that not having friends that are Jews or Christians is holy, and that killing Jews is a way to gain Allah's favor, and that eternal sex is holy.
Folks, I don't respect a single thing that the Koran teaches. It is a book put together by Satan himself, speaking through the lustful, power-mad, and greedy illiterate fool known as Mohammed.
