Should homosexuals/lesbians be "allowed" to be baptized into a church?

No one who has not been born again should be allowed to be baptized. 2 Tim 2:19 tells us that God knows those who are His and those who bear His name MUST turn from iniquity. It's not an option for those who are in Christ.

So if a person WAS homosexual has been saved (and yet still battles that sin nature, as we all do) and there's evidence of that, then yes, they should be allowed to be baptized.

But if a person IS homosexual and is not only NOT turning from that, but is actively pursuing such a life style, teaching others that it's ok to live that life style and seeking to justify their actions ( as in God made me gay, so I'm good with Him as long as I'm in a committed relationship etc) then no. They should not be allowed to be baptized.

here is a question. ..

are our sin(s) still a problem for God, since Christ Jesus was crucified so that sin would not have dominion over us.

Does God rate sin? Are homosexuals below murders? and where do alcoholics, gossipers, liars, and others score?

Have you known someone who believed in God and had a sin that they could not shake?

When God said to not Judge.. was he talking about the "sin" a man practiced or that man"s relationship to the Lord,

or neither

these are questions that I have asked myself.
