Posted : 22 Jun, 2010 02:42 PM In context this passage has nothing to do with can be saved, that is not the context at all. before and after that chapter in Romans the bible is very clear on who is eligible for coming into the family of God, Leon what is the principle of establishing anything in the word of God? Try making the mercy quote in nine fit the rest of the bible concerning mercy, chapter nine has to be in the light of all the other chapters in Romans. Post Reply

I showed examples in another post of God having done the choosing from the beginning. Many are called but few are chosen. Sound familiar? If all were called, it would say...All are called but few are chosen. The verses you are talking about are for the called. No, not all are called. To say that means you don't believe God's word. He states plainly that some were created for destruction. Post Reply

I have given you plenty of God's word for you to deny, please tell us why you don't believe God. Come on PJ, lets debate. Answer my scriptures and examples. LOL. You won't be able to because the bible commentaries skip over them like they don't exist. That means you have to understand the bible to talk about it. If the word of God .says he justified all he justified all, now when you speak out of context, that is exactly whay you do when you say Jesus did not die for all, does not call all, you actually believe what you say, and not what the word says Post Reply
