Either your God is the God of the Bible, or your "heavenly father" is not the God of the Bible.
The God of the Bible, our Father who art in Heaven, CREATED HELL. And hell is just as eternal as heaven (Matt. 25:46).
It doesn't matter what YOU THINK God is like. God is who He is, not what we think is "kind or just" from our puny human perspective.
PJ & I do not serve the same God. That means one of us will be found wanting on that day.
I don't think inhalation is a true punishment, if that was an option I would choose a life of self indulgence and steal and kill whom I please, over a life of dieing to self with trials tribulation, temptations and persecution that is promised in the NT to those who believe, then I would just go back to being none existent like I was before I was born. Would that be justice for a person like Hitler, a child molester, a fornicator or a liar?
I also don't think it is going to be a party for Satan or the demons or anyone else, Satan is not the ruler of hell nor will he be the one inflicting the pain, he will suffer like everyone else there, it is a place of torment for those that are sent. And it will be right and just for those who are sent. And all of creation will rejoice on that day when everything will be restored like in the beginning but only better, there will be no more sin and we who believe in the God of the bible (without twisting, stretching, adding or taking away from it) will be there rejoicing also.
What did Jesus save us from? The wrath of the Father! The wrath of God abides on all of us, we all deserve to be sent to hell every last one of us, until we repent and trust Jesus as savior, only then we are saved from God's wrath. And only Jesus' sacrifice was good enough to save us and only those who the Father gives to the Son will be saved.

You can deny God's word all you want PJ, but here it is in plain English. God cast them into the lake of fire. Sorry to blow your theology, but it is false.
Sorry, guys...But PJ, is right on this one. God doesn't send anyone to hell, they make the choice to REJECT the gospel of Jesu Christ, and continue in their sins, and suffer the penalty of sin, which is death the punishment of sin.
Aand this second death is being cast into hell with satan and all who have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins.
People send their ownselves ot hell because of disobedience, hell is the end results for sin. :devil::goofball:

And not only are we who believe are predestined for heaven, but we ALLl, EVERY person born in the world has been called and invited to have faith, repnet of our sins, believe and receive Jesus Christ for the forgivennes of sins. And when we obey and use our faith to believe, repent of our sins, receive the invitation to come to Cjrist, as we ALL have been called to do, we become the CHOSEN ONES who will reap the rewards of the kingdom and God makes us heirs with Jesus Christ.EVERY SINNER IS CALLED to repent and believe, and when this happens, we are then KNOWN AS BELIEVERS becuase we obeyed the call to repentance of our sins. God is no respecter of persons, everybody is CALLED to repentance, and its their choice in obedience, or their free will which is as I've said, free will is rebellion, and disobedience.
God says many are called because Jesus died for the slavation of theWHOLE WOLRD, and grace and love was offered to everyone that God created. Therefore, many are called, but few are chsen... And the reason why few are chosen, is becasue only a few will accept the invitation to come and repnet of their sins. Jesus even said the road/path to heaven is very narrow, and the road/path to hell is wide... few will be on the road/path to heaven because they obeyed the called to repentance... those on the road to hell used their free will and made thier own decision not to obey the call.
There ain't no special chosen people that God chose before the foundation of the earth to be saved. EVERYBODY BORN HAS BEEN CHOSEN BY GOD TO BE SAVED FROM THEIR SINS. For God so LOVED THE WORLD, not a few chosen people, but Jesus died for the UNSAVED WORLD,which we all were until we had faith to believe, so that WHOSOEVER(no matter who you are, what you've done, or where you come from) WHOSOEVER, believes in Jesus would not perish, but have EVERLASTING LIFE, your names will be written in the Lambs Book of Life, to coinhert the kingdom and reign with Jesus Christ.
