Admin	Why you can Trust the Text of the New Testament Posted : 17 Jun, 2010 11:59 AM There are two reasons that the texts of the New Testament are trustworthy, and could NOT have been tampered with. 1. The explosion of the Christian faith all at once, leading to the texts being printed in several countries in several different languages. 2. The sheer AMOUNT of texts that were copied and distributed. By the time there was ANY ecclesiastical authority, say 350AD at the very soonest, there was NO POSSIBLE WAY ALL the different texts could have been gathered up and altered in any way. By that time, there were already texts that had been sealed in jars and buried in different lands, in different languages, and no one knew about them except the people who hid them! What we HAVE found out, by finding these ancient texts in different times and places is the New Testament texts ALL AGREE WITH EACH OTHER, and therefore the texts of the New Testament ARE accurate and we DO HAVE THE SAME WORDS IN OUR BIBLE THAT THE EARLIEST CHRISTIANS DID. We do not believe in the whole truth so God has to show us whre we error at and improve our faith after gentle correction. Or if we refuse to listen then Jesus will use tougher measures to get our attention. what Pixy is writing is from Jesus. It was meant as a message and it is beginning to take shape. Sometimes you have people who are helplessly negative and contentious, and who has no desire to STUDY THE SCRIPTURE. They only quote it and quote it with no desire to see what it means and how it applies to our lives. Post Reply

Oh, by the way I was watching a bible movie Saterday and it ended with the statement, " And when Jesus sat on the right hand side of the father, (He) The Father gave Jesus all authority over Heaven and Earth. The minutia that you can find in both sections of the bible, and even just the way the bible was constructed and preserved is proof enough. :peace::peace: Post Reply
