Now the works of the flesh are evident(obvious), which are these: Adultery(outside sex while married, also worshipping or mixing of the fiath, or anything other than God), Fornication(sex outside of being married), Uncleanness (sexual impurity) Lasciviousness(sexual excess), Idolatry(idol worshipping of images, or affection placed on people, places or personal things instead of God), Witchcraft or Sorcery(tampering with evil powers, trying to make things go your way, occult), Haterd( strong dilike in the heart for a person wiithout cause), Contentions(strife or discord without cause), Emulations (jealousy), Strife(self ambitions), Seditions(dissensions,unnecessary anger without cause),Heresies (divisions or eleiques, distorting the word of God), Envying (wishing for what others have0, Murderers( taking another person's life you didn't give, or speaking harsh evil or slanderous words against another person with hate, drunkenness(excess drinking and losing control of self and acting out with bad behavior), Reveiling(carousing, or excessive eating, or gluttony.
And the likes of these, those who PRACTICE SUCH THINGS WILL NOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD.
Revelation Chapter 21:
The Fearful, and the Unbelieving, and the Abominable, and Murderers, and Whoremongers, and Sorceres, and Idolaters, and ALL LIARS( notice this does not say Y'ALL LAIRS, it says ALL LAIRS:ROFL:, WILL HAVE THEIR PART IN THE LAKE WHICH BURNS WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, WHICH IS THE SCEOND DEATH.
Dennis being a Baptist has nothing to do with being saved always saved. Any born again believer knows that once they are saved by God's grace and mercy, and they are SEALED by the Holy Spirit, and living a life style pleasing to God and according to His laws, rooted and grounded in His Word. There is NO SIN THAT THEY CAN COMMIT THAT WILL NOT BEFORE GIVEN. Its not a Baptist thing, this is A GOD THING of protecting His promise to those who believe.
God will not unseal or remove His Spirit from us UNLESS we are in total sin, OR we have removed oursleves from Him, as Saul did when God removed himself from God and turned to witchcraft. And the Bible tells us that God removed His Spirit from Saul, and Saul had harden his heart so, auntil he didn't even know that the Spirit of the Lord wasn't with him anymore.
The believer has repentance, if they sin. There are people who are not walking in a christian life style, but still profess and confess Christ and are living in sin, and know they are, these are they who are easily overcome with false teachings and tossed to and fro with every wind of doctrine. They are not gorunded nor rooted in the word of God.
As The scripture says, firstly, it is impossible for a true believer to loses their salvation, because they are very protective over their faith in Christ and have tasted the goodness of the Lord and its rather hard and difficult to move a tree that is planted in solid gorund and rooted in the word of God... only those with a FORM of godliness can be moved.
It amount to understanding and believing God's promises and how powerful His grace is with confidence. Those who being they can loses their salvation don't understand how God's amazing grace works, and end up trying to work their way into the kingdom with good deeds.
Those who believe they are saved always save by God's grace and mercy, know with confidence that should they sin, they have mercy and grace through repentance and forgivennes of God to cover them. And they also know that it will be impossible for them to be restore back into God's family, so they are MORE careful to protect their salvation, and faith pleasing God by their Christ-like life styles walking in the Spirit under His control and power and leadership, and not by their works.
Therefore, we have those who walk with confidence in the faith of God's promises and His word, who believe they are saved until Jesus returns.
And we have those who do not belive that their salvation is secure who walk around trying to do good works and be nice and legalistic in their faiht and are not trusting in God's promises and His word, becasue they belive they can loses their salvation if they mess up. This Sound like legaism and what the Judiazers taught... you must work to keep your salvation, becaue God's grace and mercy isn't powerful enough to keep you if you should sin. uh...:nahnah:
