About the elect it is said even the anti christ will deceive some of the elect.
Who are the elect?
The jews and the christians are the elect.
Most of the jews chose to reject Jesus so the church was adapted. making anyone the elect.
People- friends- God already knows your choice but he still allows you to make it.

PJ's statement on salvation is right, Jesus died for everybody, However, since he knows our choice's he knows not everybody will accept. He can replace you if you refuse the calling. Only a very arrogant person thinks God has to have them to do his plan. We all are replacable.Look at Israel!!!!!!!!! There are two witnesses establishing who qualifies for salvation, plus instruction to the believer to minister this truth to the world.
It is your choice to believe otherwise but it will not change the truth, Know i realized how many times you want to say how stupid I am, or that I need to study, and how you expect me to believe other scriptures are true, but these are not by your admission

I did not write the Bible, But my Jesus authored it and entrusted it to his men.
Personally, I think it means that many will be deceived and that it will be so convincing that even the elect may waiver slightly. Not that it is possible for them to fall, just that it will be hard to resist.
I think He is using the elect as a contrast to show how easy it will be for people to fall for it.

I believe that most Christians in America make the mistake of only reading the Word of God in its English form instead of looking up the Words in their Aramaic,Hebrew and Greek languages to see what is meant.
When we do this,we might be surprized at what we are reading.
Biblical interpretaion is necessary and could even change what we are reading.
Psalm 37:4 "Delight Yourself" #6026 in Strongs Hebrew Dictionary.
This Hebrew word "anag"pronounced aw-nag.literally means to be soft or pliabe.
Now this verse reads"Be soft/pliable in the Lord and He will give you in your heart what you are to be desiring".
Remember not one man,woman or child desires anything of the Lord unless He The Lord gives that to them.

3.Baptizing(907 Strongs Greek)The tense of this word is a continuous action,not just a one time dip or dunking in water.
4.In the name or rather into the name(s) of the Father and of the Son and of The Holy Spirit.
To be doing this we need to be knowing and experiencing the Lord and what His name(s) are and mean.
