this is a call for admin to do something about one PhillipJohn, he will continue 'lightly' provoke members and when they respond to his provocation they would be the ones getting deleted. this is not right. i saw quite by accident another member on here make 'railling accusations' about you being a liar (not my thoughts but those expressed by a lady in a thread i stumbled upon) it contained another account from him with the same picture. when i checked up on the woman's account, i saw a message that it had been deleted. i do not claim to know the story, but what i witness from you PhillipJohn, is that you are a trouble maker, a fire starter who subtly prods members. i am thinking about reporting YOU to ADMIN!

i am also calling for fellow members to reply to this post with their summations of my conduct, and thoughts about my move (before i make it). that guy is starting to get to me, i need the counsel of you forum members before i make any decisions, right now i am not 'on edge', i realise the potential of these subtle encounters and this is my means of being pro-active. emails are welcomed. NOT FROM YOU PHILLIPJOHN.

amendment: there are times when people will be abusive or extremely disrespectful, and those should be deleted. but from what i've read this is neither an instance or abuse nor extreme disrespect.

thanks remp, i see what your saying. i really wasn't thinking to have him booted off. i guess i just could see myself just deleting my account or something like that because of subtle but pointed aggravations, i don't appreciate being pushed after i have made my stance so obviously clear! it felt like the devil was just prodding at me, an annoying little buzz, so i figured prevention is better than cure... and made this thread. i really just needed the support and advice from CDFF members and i really got a brilliant point of view from river! :glow:

maybe my post could be construed as "out there", mean, whatever. but i am not going to play hide and seek with my opinion, nor am i going to just ignore it(all the time)! i'm not afraid of being wrong, i just want to know what is right, i could delete this account or mentally write people when i feel like they keep overstepping boundaries. but i would rather learn, and grow from it. i'm trying to be a healthy human being and that includes emotionally, spiritually, physically ... all of that good stuff. some people may not get it, but for those of you who do, some people who post actually want feedback! and appreciate it when they get it. sometimes i feel like things around here is "don't ask don't tell"...blah enough of me and my rant.

thanks again those of you who helped, directly or indirectly

I hate to say this but yeah...ignore-ance is a good idea. I know I use it a lot...for particular people. I wonder if anyone ignores me:laugh:. We need Cattle back...

:peace::peace:

(don't think it's a testosterone thing though, I know way too many women that have to be right:goofy:...but maybe this is why dudes were supposed to be the spiritual leaders, they stand up more when they believe something is false instead of just letting it go. Looks like that attitude gets abused a lot, but...you can kinda see what God's intentions might have been in setting up the "spiritual leader" pecking order when the man is good/godly/HUMBLE!! I WOULD UNDERLINE THAT BUT I CAN'T!!)

i know it was sort of just a play on words donthit, but rather than ignore something instead i think we should just have the patience and understanding to make everything we say edifying. which doesn't necessarily mean not butting heads from time to time. everybody's still free to agree to disagree.

Yeah...I should have been clearer, but I was talking about those times when someone just rubs you the wrong way and you can't think of anything edifying to say:laugh:. I'm only human:dunce:, I can't help getting a little annoyed at certain hypocrisies...it's a pet peeve. I've even messed up and blasted a couple people when I should have kept quiet. Some people just don't seem to think about what they're saying at all...no humility, no mercy, no self-examination...it's annoying to me. I'm workin' on it though:rocknroll:. Getting annoyed with someone and blasting them for being hypocritical IS kinda hypocritical...

okay so i'm new. i'm probably missing something.

however the few posts i've seen from him.... yeah they may have rubbed some people the wrong way, but there wasn't anything inherently wrong with what he's said. At least not on any ethical grounds, doctrinal... well he and i may not agree on certain things. lets leave it at that ;)

my advice? honestly? if he annoys you. don't respond to him. He cannot, nor can anyone, force you or anyone else to act in anything other than a mature Christian manner.

If he is breaking the rules, report him. If he's just saying things you don't agree with or like, ignore him and move on.

I disagree nyanda. I think you might actually really be "out there" on this one. PJ can rub me the wrong way too but I like discussing something with someone that knows what they believe instead of with someone who can't find a clue. What I don't like is those who come here with an agenda and are not interested in an actual discussion. I don't think PJ is like that.

Frankly Miss Scarlett,

I don't give a *amn!:dancingp:

It is hard enough getting your point across by using the written word and quite often you are misunderstood. A lot of what is said here would never be said if we were all in a room together.

I have grown tired of trying to "chastize" the unruly and the boorish and I just "pass" them by now.
