That is one lifetime to get it right.:peace:Only by the holy spirit can we come to Jesus. Point 3 Before I came to jesus I did believe in reincarnation. By the Holy spirit I had to renounce reincarnation.For me to agree with you on this issue is to renounce my salvation.I will never do that.Never,never!!!!!The holy spirit lead me to give up the false belief in reincarnation.So,I can not give up my salvation Post Reply

Isaiah 65:17 says the world will always be here with new babies being born. Reincarnation as told by Jesus was to build up your rewards for your next life. There are no coincidenses, all things are punished or rewarded in your next life. Salvation does not take you to Heaven but allows you to experience Heaven here on earth. If everyone was to enjoy life to its fullest today, there would be a shortage of fishing poles. Shalom Dan Post Reply

I'm pretty sure that it's talking about immortality...not giving birth. Its saying there WON'T be any young infants or old men. I'm not sure what it means by "the hundred year old sinner being accursed", but after the 1000 years in heaven when Gd recreates the earth...there will be no more sin or death...ever. So take this one verse and interpret it with those verses that say there will be no sin/death in heaven/on the new earth. Must mean something else. The weight of scripture interprets scripture. One verse does not prove "reincarnation". That's silly. I'm not sure what you mean by reincarnation anyway. Are you saying that we keep being born in different bodies? As animals? Manofgod...just had a thought...did Lazarus die twice? What about the 2nd death? Does that mean that if Lazarus wasn't saved he'd have to die 3 times? Must mean that unless God intervenes...it's appointed once for man to die. :peace::peace: Post Reply

Tarasye View Profile History	Reincarnation Posted : 17 Nov, 2009 05:11 AM I have looked at reincarnation, and I am really not convinced of clarity on it one way or the other, and sometimes think it might actually explain a lot, but of one thing I am very sure; if we were intended to dwell upon things out side our current state of life, it would be addressed. If we were intended to remember our existence before being born into this life, we would remember. If the Lord felt we needed to know things beyond this life, He would open that knowledge up to us. But there is no clear open door to such existence, and the vague ones that do exist, are clearly subject to demonic manipulation. This is why we are warned not to dabble into mysticism. We are easily enough led astray without inviting such things into our focus. Pursuing such knowledge is very dangerous. Let God be God, and He will answer all those questions some day, but today is not that day. Tarasye Post Reply

God makes us new creatures when we are saved, and He recreates our fallen bodies when He comes back. But as far as being "reincarnated"...that's not in the bible. The dead know not anything, they have no part in anything done under the sun. When you die, you're done in this world until the resurrection/judgment. :peace::peace: Post Reply

According to the "religion" there sre nine levels you reincarnate through on your path to final full enlightment. Those on the lower level are not worthy enough to mingle with the upper level dudes. Happy, is this your religion? God is in charge of all souls. When you die there are only two directions you can go -- up or down. There is no big car wash somewhere where God cleans up and recycles souls. It is an elegent proposition, but so is evil-ution. Remember -- the dark one feeds us lies wrapped up inside truths and hailf-truths. Many of us swallow them and digest them -- where they end up in our blood stream and clog our recognition of the truth. The Church has from the very beginning refuted such nonsense. It was not worthy of discussion to them, except in condemning those that spewed it. Scientology is another "religion" that preaches reincarnation and many people "remember" past lives. Any such event (of remembering past lives) that pans out to be truthful is from the dark one, just as ghosts that prove to be true are not ghosts --but demons. Anyway, if I had a choice of who or what I wanted to be in my next life it would be someone sweet like Tarasye or JustJoey or Browneyedgirlky or Ole' Cattleman. A man's wife finally had enough of watching her husband just sit in front of the TV drinking beer and not paying any attention to her. She stormed up behind him and yelled at him "You don't know the meaning of sensuous!" Her husband jump up from the couch and got nose to nose with her and hollered back "yeah I do." She retorted "Well then use it in a sentence." The man just glared at her for a moment and then said "Alright -- Sensuous up -- get me another beer from the kitchen!" Post Reply
