The scriptural support typically given for this view is the command to obey the government’s laws (Romans 13:1–7; 1 Peter 2:17). " The fly in the ointment with that statement is It's legal in most places in the US to murder innocent babies. Does mans law override Gods law? Of course not! If mans law does not go against Gods law then it's usually OK so getting married and getting the government involved in a marriage is a choice. But that choice is proving more and more to be a mistake as many women are now getting married and then using mans law to steal, kill and destroy men's lives. The smart man leaves the government out of his marriage. Post Reply

(Mark 6:8) But Herod did it anyway. (Luke 3:19) Too, the Bible says that anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery. (Luke 16:18) But people do it anyway. I think most marriages are unholy matrimony. Romans 7:2-3, "For example, by law a married woman is bound to her husband as long as he is alive, but if her husband dies, she is released from the law that binds her to him. So then, if she has sexual relations with another man while her husband is still alive, she is called an adulteress. But if her husband dies, she is released from that law and is not an adulteress if she marries another man." 1 Corinthians 7:39, "A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord." 1 Corinthians 7:10=11 "To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife." But whatever? No one is really following the Bible. Bottom line is John 4:17-18. “I have no husband,” she replied. Jesus said to her, “You are right when you say you have no husband. The fact is, you have had five husbands, and the man you now have is not your husband. What you have just said is quite true.” That is how lawful wedded wife is now days. Adultery on adultery. Having a Marriage License is not against God's laws. I know several Men Christian that would say living with.a woman in any sexual relationship is wrong! As know 3 Pastors personally who say it's wrong. BTW However, Men can choose whatever but do not say God approves. We not living in OLD Testament days under the Laws ! Man couldn't keep the laws anyway is why God sent Jesus to die for the sins of All Mankind. Post Reply
