Posted : 7 Sep, 2021 06:57 PM Colossians 2:16  Let no one therefore judge you in food, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days, 17  Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body/substance/reality is of Christ. Hebrews 10:1  For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect. 2  For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins. 3  But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year. 4  For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.  We should do the opposite of those that Paul describes in Colossians 2:19 as not holding firmly to the Head. We should be holding tightly to Christ who is the Head. We can't hold onto the shadow and the reality at the same time. That means we would be holding onto the animal sacrifices in addition to the once for all sacrifice of Christ(Hebrews 10:1). The shadow includes more than the sacrifices. Heb 9:9  Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience 10  Which stood only in foods and drinks, and various water ceremonies/baptisms, and ordinances pertaining to the flesh, imposed on them until the time of reformation.  Post Reply

Posted : 8 Sep, 2021 11:31 AM @Ohio Ohio, a tradition the 'christians' hold dear to them is the so called ' church service', which cannot be found in the Scriptures. How does the 'church service' operate. The sheeple gather together in a building, the place they gather some call it The SANCTUARY. My sanctuary is Messiah. Then the self proclaimed 'pastor' says let's pray( let's is a contraction of LET US),no one gets to pray except the self proclaimed pastor, and the people in agreement reply with AMEN, yet what that person prayed is not what i wanted to pray. Then the people are told, Let's wroship, again Let us worship, yet the people have nothing to worship with as the so calledan made worship band USURPS the time that the people should have to worship Messiah according to 1Corinthians 14 verses 23-33. The people are told there is not enough time for everyone to speak, or 'WE do not do that here'. After 30-45 minutes of being entertained by the BAND,the people are told to sit down. A collection A.K.A. club dues is taken,( which are tax deductible)then let's pray, which only one person does, then the halftime break. When the show begins a person gives a speech, but before the speech, let's pray and again, silence from the attendees. During the speech the people are not allowed to say anything, the people cannot challenge errors, hypocrisy, lies, or UNBELIEF,as the masses have been duped into silence. The sheeple are then told to stand, let's worship,then entertainment starts( the band),once again the people do as they have been instructed Let's pray, then the sheeple are released from the pen to go theur way. I had forgotten, Once a month or so, they have juice and crackers, but they cannot eat or drink until they have confessed their sins. Once again the sheeple remain silent while the self proclaimed 'pastor' tells everyone what to do. QUIZNOS, I cannot find this type of CONTROLLED event anywhere in the Scriptures. The 'christians' have been told that GOD Almighty does now want robots, yet the sheeple cannot see, or understand that, that is what the man made ' church' has made them to be. When questioned as to the Scriptural validity to the so called 'church meeting', i have been told that the meeting is done Decently, and in order. In reality, this so called meeting is a controlled atmosphere, void of the Presence and Power of the Holy Spirit. My question is, where is the Holy Spirit in all of this. Can we find this in the Scripture, if not, then why would the Holy Spirit violate what the Word says about the way the Saints of Yashua are to be meeting together. Post Reply

Moon posted this tradition. You need to seek a Holy Spirit fulfill Man teacher, to help you interpret the truths of the Bible Quiznos. Holy Spirit is with every teacher and pastor, who teaches the truth of the Bible/scripture. Quiznos I'm not depending on any Man . My postings don't even refer to that. Shows Again you misunderstand. God is not against Pastors or churches. That's what I'm posting here and I've posted it before. You don't know what your talking about , as usual. Seek the Lord for guidance ! You need it. Post Reply

God is not against churches just False doctrine/teaching! Msn can teach False doctrine in a small group setting. Or Anywhere else . Post Reply

Whatever is not of Him, He is not responsible for, thus He is against the 'church', and is not responsible for the organized BUSINESS called 'church'. How many times before you understand this, my fault; the Holy Spirit has to reveal this to the people. Post Reply

How many times do I have to tell You, God is it against the churches. Posting that he is. Is False teaching. Why don't you seek God's guidance instead of trying to Twist scripture to say what you want . Post Reply
