I’m listing a few reasons, (I can say more, these will do as conversation starters), in support of Adam and Eve’s faith. I believe they are among God’s chosen and both received salvation after breaking God’s.
1) both enjoyed real fellowship with God since the day they were created.
2) Eve, in faith, believed God’s word and told the serpent that God had commanded them not to eat from the tree but eventually Eve succumbed to the serpent’s cunning deceitfulness and became convinced the tree was good to eat and could make them like God”. Adam wasn’t deceived in the same way but for some reason followed his wife’s lead (“...listened to your wife...”) and he broke the command of God also.
4) This is a key point here. After Adam and Eve sinned, fled and hid themselves from the holiness of God—-
A.) God sought for the new sinners on his own
B.) God confronted their sin
C.) God covered their sin with freshly slaughtered
animal skins (signifying the shedding of innocent
blood, thus the eventual shedding of the innocent
blood of Jesus (the promised seed of the woman).
D.) Eve demonstrates this saving faith as she gives
birth to Cain. She thought he was the promised
Man, then she thought perhaps Seth was the
promised Man.
Like I say, more can be said, these are discussion starters
Please read the entire Genesis account and the New Testament mentions of Adam and Eve
Also keep this in mind—all the doctrines of the faith such as repentance, salvation and the Trinity are not fully explained in the first few chapters of Genesis

"Adam and Eve’s faith. I believe they are among God’s chosen and both received salvation after breaking God’s."
Firstly I know the purpose of Davids attempt at showing breaking Gods word as forgivable, but unfortunately the scriptures are not so muddled, they explain all for us, always.
Davids first point, of them enjoying fellowship with God, and we notice the exact same similarity in Psalm 55, of Judas who betrayed the Lord, how Christ and Judas shared sweet counsel ( fellowship ) together, but the end was cursing of course, Judas fell by transgression, there is no testimony for anyone transgressing and being welcomed by God, but we see testified how they tried to repent and could not, as the transgressors are of perdition.
Also the purpose of these testimonies of the Lord, is to show how men fail the grace of God by not believing and fearing these same examples. As Esau, and all others now, defiled by bitterness, and no place of repentance was found, and God is free to love whom He chooses, such as Jacob, but Esau has He hated, it is not of those who run or will, it i all Gods will and way..
"1) both enjoyed real fellowship with God since the day they were created"
Psalm 55:12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him:
13 But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance.
14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.
John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
Acts 1:25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.
17 For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Romans 9:13 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
"2) Eve, in faith, believed God’s word"
Anyone find it interesting at all, that everything David has said, is directly testified in Gods word as missing what else God says,, how all the Hebrews believed in Gods words, and then soon forgot His works, they tempted God and received leanness ( and destruction )..
Psalm 106:12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
13 They soon forgat his works; they waited not for his counsel:
14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
Jude 1:5 I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
"4) This is a key point here. After Adam and Eve sinned, fled and hid themselves from the holiness of God—-
A.) God sought for the new sinners on his own
B.) God confronted their sin"
Yes the point is also told in our scriptures, how God was directly confronting the Hebrews as just told about above, again, how God would destroy them all, but Moses stood in the breach to turn away Gods wrath, and as Isaiah says, God left a seed or all would be as Sodom and Gomorrah, God gave mercy to continue life, as Galatians 3 tells us, until the seed should come because of the transgressions began by Adam and Eve ( as already told earlier in the verses o the first Adam )..
Deuteronomy 9:13 Furthermore the Lord spake unto me, saying, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stiffnecked people:
14 Let me alone, that I may destroy them, and blot out their name from under heaven: and I will make of thee a nation mightier and greater than they.
Psalm 106:23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
Romans 9:29 And as Esaias said before, Except the Lord of Sabaoth had left us a seed, we had been as Sodoma, and been made like unto Gomorrha.
Galatians 3:19 Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.
"C.) God covered their sin with freshly slaughtered
animal skins (signifying the shedding of innocent
blood, thus the eventual shedding of the innocent
blood of Jesus "
The law and sacrifices made by the priests are the shadow of things to come, and also testified, the blood of these animals could not take away sins, nor the first covenant make the comers perfect, as they continued in sins ( as did Adam and Eve ) and died as told, then ceasing to sin is the new covenant..
Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
Hebrews 12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,
Hebrews 13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Romans 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
After God made the coats for Adam and Eve, His next action is to put them away, from the tree of life, ( because they are not keepers of Gods word but transgressors)..
Genesis 3:21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
Adam and Eve did walk where God was, but were rejected to not be near Him any more.
This is because Christ leads us to living fountains of waters, to dwell among us for ever, because of the blood of the Lamb and His obedience against the disobedience of Adam..
Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Revelation 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
As testified, the way to the Holiest ( the tree of life/Christ is ETERNAL LIFE) was not known or allowed as Adam was CAST OUT..
1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
Hebrews 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Now the way to the tree of life is known to be ONLY through Christ ( and His example of suffering and obedience/FAITH) the opposite of Adams faithless disobedient unrepentant earthly way, because it is TESTIFIED, THEY WHO DO HIS COMMANDMENTS MAY HAVE RIGHT TO THE TREE OF LIFE..
Revelation 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Revelation 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
CONCENTRATE TO THE WORDS YOU IGNORE, the first man is not in any way a good example, but is earthy, of the earth and failure completely. The second man is the Lord from Heaven in us, and is the overcomer of the world for us, by being obedient unto death, unlike Adam disobedient immediately and always, which is the same former ignorance of all men in our lusts of sinning until death, and now through Christ we become obedient children, ( UNLIKE THE FIRST ADAM)..
1 Corinthians 15:47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
1 Peter 1:14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron.
