In fact, astrology has raised up its hidious head once again, in these last days, and is seeking to deceive the soul of mankind, through the witchery of the New Age religions, Kabbalah, Judaism, and shockingly, even modern Christianity, which is dear to my heart because of my Lord and Savior, Whose title in the Greek was/is CHRISTOS [for Ha' Mashiach: Messiah in Hebrew].
SUN WORSHIP THEN AND NOW
If you will go to Ezekiel [8:12-16], you will read where the Lord states, to Jeremiah: "THEN HE SAID UNTO ME, SON OF MAN, HAST THOU SEEN WHAT THE ANCIENTS OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL DO IN THE DARK, EVERY MAN IN THE CHAMBERS OF HIS IMAGERY? FOR THEY SAY, 'THE LORD SEETH US NOT; THE LORD HATH FORSAKEN THE EARTH. HE SAID ALSO UNTO ME, 'TURN THEE YET AGAIN, AND THOU SHALT SEE GREATER ABOMINATIONS THAT THEY DO. THEN HE BROUGHT ME TO THE DOOR OF THE GATE OF THE LORD'S HOUSE WHICH WAS TOWARDS THE NORTH; AND, BEHOLD, THERE SAT WOMEN WEEPING FOR TAMMUZ. THEN HE SAID UNTO ME, HAST THOU SEEN THIS, O SON OF MAN? The evidence of anyone's conversion is manifest in their conduct and behavior; which is why it is written, "IF ANY MAN BE IN CHRIST, HE IS A NEW CREATURE. BEHOLD, ALL THINGS PASS WAY, ALL THINGS ARE MADE NEW!" [II Cor 5:17]
I am sorry if we disagree, but the evidence - as concerns anyone's conversion - is to be found in whether or not their backs are towards the Lord, as they arefacing the east, as they worship the sun; or in whether their backs are towards the east, as they worship the Lord in His temple!
"AND WITH THE MOUTH IS MADE UNTO SALVATION!" If the mouth can confess unto salvation, then you must accept that it is a fact, that the mouth can confess unto damnation! To say that you are a "sign," is an insult, and it proves that you have not been visited by the Holy Spirit, or He has not convicted one of their sins, yet. But let's not think that one can do both! You cannot worship whoredom, witchcraft, and sorcery, and the Living God...at the same time!
Astrology, and any other form of sorcery, and there are plenty, are not to be played with.
THE IMAGE OF THE BEAST
Modern Christianity, like Judaism, Kabbalah, Hinduism, and all of the 19 major religions of the world, all have symbols to represent them - and they all originated out of the Image of the Beast that was first used at Babel; while the word of God states "FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, AND NOT BY SIGHT!" [II Cor 5:7]
If you will go to my profile, I will place up front, a picture of the Image of the Beast, for all to see; it is found worldwide, and in America, perhaps millions of times. I am writing a book titled, appropriately, "The Image of the Beast," as is in Revelation 13. This image is to be found in every religion's buildings throughout the entire world, along with the accompanying symbology of each religion [The Cross of Christianity, the Star of David of Judaism, the Crsent of Islam, et cetera], while it is written in the Second Commandment: "THOU SHALT NOT MAKE UNTO THEE ANY GRAVEN IMAGE, OR ANY LIKENESS OF ANY THING THAT IS IN HEAVEN ABOVE, OR THAT IS IN THE EARTH BENEATH, OR THAT IS IN THE WATER UNDER THE EARTH: THOU SHALT NOT BOW DOWN THYSELF TO THEM, NOR SERVE THEM." [Exodus 20:4-5a].
It was because of the Lord's foreknowledge that He set forth the mandatory prohibition against IMAGES of any kind in the Ten Commandments. We, which are believers by faith, are to obey the Word of the Lord, and not have any image, whether it be a CROSS, or a FISH, or any other thing, because we are commanded to obey, and not pick and choose what we want to obey!
So, the next time you see a CROSS or a FISH on the rear of someone's automobile, just remember what the Lord said in His Ten Commandments!
"YOU SHALL NOT MAKE ANY GRAVEN IMAGE OF ANYTHING, PERIOD!"
And, in closing; "Do you worship by faith, or by sight!"
FAITH IS NOT SEEING, as in "Abraham went not knowing!"

Your words of 8-22-09, of, "Thank you Ole cattle .. that was well said and spoke in love," are an example of how people today do not rightly understand the power of placing one word properly into conversation, phrase, or sentence, and the subsequent meaning when misplaced or used improperly.
You wrote, "THAT WAS WELL SAID AND SPOKE IN LOVE!" You were totally wrong! "Ole cattle," has not SAID anything to me, and nor was he in a position, that he "SPOKE" anything unto me!
Hence, "Ole cattle," did not SAY or SPEAK anything! He "WROTE" whatever he was communicating to me!

First of all, although I do affirm the TULIP position of the doctrines of grace, that are known as 5-Point Calvimism, I am not a Calvinist. Let me explain.
As J. I. Packer points out in his book, KNOWING GOD, the gospel has been the subject of intense debate since Jesus Himself, walked the earth. Men everywhere you turn, will tell you that they believe in grace. But what is grace to them?

But let's get one thing clear.. right now. I am not a Calvinist; I am a believer through the teachings of Jesus Christ! Hence, I am a disciple!
My taking a firm, immovable stand against the whoredom that is astrology, is not a case of my being obssessed with anything!
I am a man of God, who has been inspired by the Word of God, through the Agency of the Holy Spirit, to be as a soldier of the Lord, and to not become entangled again with the cares of this life. The words CHRISTIAN, and CHRISTIANS, are wholly NT terms, and are not found in the OT. The term "CHRISTIANS," is found only once, and the term "CHRISTIAN," is found only twice.
The term "CHRISTIANS" which is used once, is found in: "AND THEY WERE FIRST CALLED CHRISTIANS AT ANTIOCH!" [Acts 11:26]; The term "CHRISTIAN" which is used twice, is found in: "ALMOST THOU PERSUADEST ME TO BE A CHRISTIAN" [Acts 26:28]; and lastly, "YET, IF ANY MAN SUFFER AS A CHRISTIAN, LET HIM NOT BE ASHAMED; BUT LET HIM GLORIFY GOD ON THIS BEHALF!
