Therefore, women are forbidden to teach male adults, but are still allowed to teach children and other women. For example, in the same letter to Timothy, Paul instructs women to “bear children” and “guide” their households (1 Tim. 5:14, KJV). Also, when Jesus was twelve years old, Luke tells us that He was “subject” to His mother, and with that, “Jesus kept increasing in wisdom” (Luke 2:42, 51-52) Post Reply

No! here is one verse to prove it Posted : 17 Jan, 2021 06:14 PM Yes, you’re right rsvp, women may teach children and other women and in some cases a women may informally inform or teach a man but a woman cannot serve as pastor or teaching elder (bishop) over men in the churches nor serve within the leadership, as in elder rule, over the church body. An example of a women passing along information to a man, I met a young lady who was very proficient in Biblical Greek. I found her linguistic insights to be impeccable Post Reply

No! here is one verse to prove it Posted : 17 Jan, 2021 06:42 PM w agree well said Little David now I'm going to play devil's advocate here figuratively speaking of course....... the Jewish mishnah teaches kids getting bar mitzvah at age 13 making them a man and a woman In the book of Numbers men become enlisted soldiers at the age of 20 ....... So we agree that women should not teach men as the Bible prohibits but given the afore said @ what age ( keeping in mind women with male oversight ) should they not be allowed to teach males? Is it more of a spiritual maturity age or biological? Please answer with Bible passages first opinions second Post Reply

Firstly on men pastors, and men controlling women for that matter. God is the Spirit of truth, all who never trusted Him ( all of Israel) or all men, were destroyed as examples, of how God does things, how not trusting in God only, means your destruction. Then Jesus came along, to draw men from this world of lying teachers ( all the Pharisees) and the Holy Spirit ( which was seen never given to Israel so they were rejected) was given into the ones Jesus chose to follow Him, and they learned of God from God inside them, leading them as He is their ONLY Shepherd, and gave Apostles as examples and for teaching against the many false teachers and deceivers, we needed to be informed about. Now, those same endlessly talk, without Gods word in their heart, and think they are qualified to teach the same as God teaches us in our heart already, and they also think they can decide who teaches children, what women are allowed to do etc. Perfect example of the faithlessness in this entire world now that was predicted for us, by God, so to me it does not disappoint, it pleases me to remember all God showed us.. 2 Peter 2:But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. 2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. 3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; Post Reply

That is , they attack or attempt to discredit the Word of God or the church itself. God calls Pastors . Many Pastors do Not teach against women teaching. However, those Pastors are called by God to teach. Post Reply
