Should we remove scripture we don’t like??
Posted : 26 Dec, 2020 10:01 PM

I have a friend who says she wants to read only “positive” Bible verses and black out all the “negative” ones.

She says Jesus was a really sweet, nice and a mushy love sorta guy who never offended anybody or said anything mean.

He was just so full of “luuuuuve”.

He would never talk about sin or hell or nothing like that.

All that stuff might upset somebody.

After all, he wants everybody to just feel good, come around and believe on him so why would he wanna make em mad?

Well, I guess, if you don’t like the Jesus of the Bible, you can always create your own little “jesus”.

Big trouble with a fake “jesus”, he and his followers deeply offend the real One.

romans 2:15 This proves that the conscience is like a law written in the human heart. And it will show whether we are forgiven or condemned .... well hopefully they come around pretty soon because time is short

Why cannot more people who claim to know Jesus get in on this conversation?

isn't the Holy spirit leading them here!

"Well unless somebody is truly born again they're not going to hear nor want to the entire Bible . I true believer doesn't want to mince words they want the whole truth and nothing but the truth so help them God"

You see that's correct, what both( one) has spoken.

The born again believer in Christ can hear, (given ears to hear with)

But then we come to two problems to clear up for you.

1. Tools for understanding cannot help, as the tool for understanding is the Holy Ghost, given to us to believe and understand with, *BY GOD, NOT BY MANS TEACHING ANYONE)

2. Born again of God are reborn with Gods love, and I heard you guys/guy mentioning about Christ so loving the world, how dwells Gods love in the talkers, by their own words also, without Gods word? Right also, the salvation message was from the beginning, here is that word and thought:

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is BORN OF GOD DOTH NOTR COMMIT SIN; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, BECAUSE HE IS BORN OF GOD.

10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

11 For THIS IS THEW MESSAGE THAT YE HAVE HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING, that we should love one another.

12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.

14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and WE OUGHT TO LAY OUR LIVES DOWN for the brethren.

17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

18 My little children, LET US NOT LOVE IN WORD, neither in tongue; but IN DEED AND IN TRUTH.
