The Lord's Supper

And when He had given thanks, He broke it and said " this is my body , which is for you; do this in rememberance of

me.'

In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying , "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in rememberance of Me."

For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes.

I think the Lords Supper is a truth drop for the word. I'm not going to do quotes as that's not my style but in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God and became flesh.

So if a group of Christians meet together to discuss Jesus (the word) we are 'breaking' it down and consuming it by learning from each other. As long as we continue to discuss the Jesus he is proclaimed through us and we can grow.

The blood is representing the new covenant from his sacrifice to save us, again if we are constantly renewing our acceptance of his sacrifice we are drinking it into our soul.

I'm not saying taking the bread & wine is a bad thing but it isn't going to save anyone and usually people tend to talk and discuss things deeply over a meal and a drink which you don't do with just anyone.

I could be wrong but this is my opinion on what the Lords supper is about.

We do this in rememberance of Jesus until He returns.

Bible doesn't specify how often we do it .

It's Scriptural.

Moon, it is to be a memorial meeting, what do people do at a memorial, they talk about the person.

The christians, they confess their sin, and remain silent.

This time is not about confessing sin, or remaining silent.

It is a time of great joy,sin of every person was placed uponMessiah to be judged in His body as He became cursed in the place of those that will trust Him to savethemfrom the wrath of GOD. The paschal lamb was slain, sin had been atoned for, mans sin was cast behind the back of GOD Almighty to be remembered no more, and the christians sit in silence.

You proclaim the Lord's death til He comes .

1Corinthians 11:26

The Bible teaches this.

@Quiznos

Evidently you don't understand communion.

Buy them you don't believe in Pastors or Church attendance.
