The LORD maketh poor and maketh rich; He bringeth low and lifteth up. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust and lifteth up the beggar from the dunghill, to set them among princes and to make them inherit the throne of glory; for the pillars of the earth are the LORD’S and He hath set the world upon them. He will keep the feet of his saints. And the wicked shall be silent in darkness; for by strength shall no man prevail.
Revelation 15:3-4
===============
And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvelous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? For thou only art holy. For all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Any rational person knows they sin daily. You’re not rational so you believe you’re sinlessly perfect even though posts clearly display evidence you still sin.
When Paul speaks about sin not having dominion, he’s speaking about the person’s daily victory over sin through the process of Holy Spirit sanctification. This is a process. Even though God has declared us perfect (justified) in heaven we must still endure the sanctification process which involves daily confession of sin, becoming holy and growing each day in discipline and submission to the Holy Spirit.
This is what it means in Philippians 1:6 “...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
Adam, your error is thinking you’re already sinlessly perfect and that you never need to confess daily sin. This false belief itself is a very serious sin.
Process for you is to not be dead to sin, to be alive to sin, which is anti scripture:
THE OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, DESTROYING THE BODY OF SIN, TO NOT SERVE SATAN AND SIN ANY MORE, TO BE DEAD IS FREED FROM SIN..
Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
Unless born again we are nothing to do with Christ, and when born of God all old is passed away, that is the process as described:
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
1 John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God
1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.
20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
Doing unrighteousness is not born of God, that is told when we are not born of God, so that's your confession.
Also those born of God love their brother, we see there is no process in that, those who love work no ill to their neighbour, so you confess you have no love of Christ either, or explain how you oppose every testimony of born again, of loving the neighbour, of being dead to sin, a new creature and new man and new plant of righteousness.
The love written in the heart is not a process, God writes it or He does not, in your confession it is not written..
Romans 2:15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Romans 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
"daily confession of sin, This is what it means in Philippians 1:6 “...being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”
That idea of yours is not a good work, its you still in your evil work. The good work began is, dead to sin, alive to righteousness, loving the neighbour, the law righteously fulfilled in us, that is working no ill to neighbour fulfils, as Gods love is shed in our heart, and born of God sins not, becuse all old is passed away and all is new and of Christ, and your confessions are, you do none of the ways and yet your own mouth is better than the WORD of God somehow
That is the new, your old sins are not the new way..
2 Peter 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.
Found false witnesses if Christ was not risen, but Christ is risen, and it is you who is still in your sins according to your own confession, but true for you.
Christ dies to take our sins away, and rises to quicken us in His righteousness, and your process is to not be born again, to not be a new man, not be a plant of righteousness, to not stop serving two masters, serving sin, but empty in all
1 Corinthians 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
Victory over the devil is victory over the devils works destroyed from you, and you are reproved as told to do..
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.
4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.
Romans 13:12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
1 Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Sadly, the only thing you’ve succeeded at Adam, is to lower the bar of God’s holiness, righteousness and spotless purity to a sinful human level so low that you believe that you have achieved it through sinless perfectionism
