Ephesians 2:8-10 are clear. salvation comes first and good works come after.   For by grace you have been are saved , through faith; and that not out of yourselves; it is God's gift:  not out of works, that no one might boast.  For we are his workmanship, having been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.  Contrary to what so many people say, there is no mingling of the two. Rom 11:6  And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. Faith is the gift of God that saves us, it is not of ourselves as you shared here. No works from us in that faith given to us from Christ to believe in Christ, it is entirely by Christ..1 Corinthians 4:7 1 Corinthians 12:9. Israel sought by the works of the law without faith( as faith was not given until Christ calls and rises to give His Spirit).. Romans 9:32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; What was preached in the name of Christ to believe in ? "repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name" To repent and turn to God, with the faith given by Christ. Turning to God is works of repentance. How do we turn to God to repent and believe in Him ? " God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities." Repentance and faith are together.. Repentance given by Christs Spirit means they have zeal of God to clear themselves of satans sins.. 2 Corinthians 7:11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter. Again faith and repentance is the gift of God, no man can repent or have faith without being given by the Lord 2 Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; For all who claim to know the truth but fall away, they are impossible to renew again to repentance, they crucify Christ afresh.. Hebrews 6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame. Post Reply

We're under the New Covenant." a good understanding have all thy who do His commands, His command is to go and sin no more, is His command to go and sin for you ? Is the command to be in darkness, to work ill to others, to lie steal and covet ? How is the new covenant not having the law kept for us by Christ created in us, go and read the topic the gift of God which we are saved by.. Ezekiel 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God. THEN HOW DO YOU DENY HIM IN UNBELIEVING WORKS OF THE FLESH MOONLIGHT? Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and UNBELIEVING is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled. 16 THEY PROFESS THAT THEY KNOW GOD, BUT IN WORKS THEY DENY HIM, BEING ABOMINABLE, AND DISOBEDIENT, AND UNTO EVERY GOOD WORK REPROBATE.
