What God has joined together let not man put asunderPosted : 23 Jul, 2020 07:57 AMThis verse has been on my heart for a while now. You know, I believe God is preparing me to be a good husband some day. I'm learning so much about love and marriage and everything, thanks to Him. I know that being a husband is more than just having a wife, a husband also has to lead his wife, protect his wife, and let her know that she is appreciated. I believe the Bible says in Proverbs 3:15 "She is more precious than rubies: and all the things thou canst desire are not to be compared unto her." . He that finds a wife finds a good thing. I think it's sad that many people think that marriage is a curse. It's not. Marriage, in my eyes, is a gift from God. For what God joins together let not man put asunder. Amen. |

What God has joined together let not man put asunderPosted : 24 Jul, 2020 07:57 AMMoon, just because non christian men and women marry doesn't mean God isn't joining them together. God may use that marriage to bring that non christian married couple closer to Him in some way. Whatever His will may be, if they choose to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal saviors can turn that non christian marriage into a marriage that glorifies Him. |

What God has joined together let not man put asunderPosted : 24 Jul, 2020 12:13 PMI know God has heard me, but I always continue, because the Bible teaches us that we should pray without ceasing. I like to share my faith on here, hoping and praying that if anyone who reads the words that the Lord has put on my heart to type out that they will be lifted up so that they can lift His name up. I love to share all that God has done for me, whether it's big or small, and everything that He has allowed to happen to me in my life, whether it's good or bad. And if it is His will, and that day comes when I'm finally joined with the one God has for me there's going to probably be a big testimony coming from me, on this site and off of it. And if it's not His will then I'll just keep doing what I'm doing and continue giving Him the praise that He deserves. But I believe that it is His will though. I trust in the Lord with this, because He has shown me countless times that He is a mighty God and that nothing is impossible to Him. God bless you Moon, Aligator, and Quiznos. |

What God has joined together let not man put asunderPosted : 25 Jul, 2020 01:39 PMAllow me to tell you a story. from the time I was 5 i wanted a Horse. I dreamed about riding fast across the prairie. when I was 9, my parents told me not to go near the garage until after Christmas. I knew they had bought a horse and was feeding him in there. When Dec. 25 came and I ran to the garage, there was a new BICYCLE. as I grew older, I planned how I would curry the horse and watch the farrier trim his hooves. When I rode my uncle's horse slowly through the pasture, I knew that someday I would have the black fast young horse I kept praying about, thinking about. Then real life continued to happen. I am now in my 70's and Yes I have enough money to buy a barn and a horse, but i WANTED it when I was a child into my early 30's. |

What God has joined together let not man put asunderPosted : 27 Jul, 2020 09:45 AMAlligator, I said nothing about wishing for a wife. I pray daily for God to help me find the right one if it is His will. I don't know if you want to believe it, but I believe that God is preparing me for marriage. I don't know how I'm going to meet my future spouse, or when, but I already know God isn't going to magically poof her into existence. She has already been created by the Father, and now I'm just waiting for Him. And if it is His will for her to arrive at my doorstep (no magic involved), then let it be. I don't believe He will let me meet her that way, but His ways are not my ways. |
