The U S government spends almost 400 BILLION dollars for welfare a year, and it is going higher.
Welfare was never meant to be a generational job, but for those in that system, many have used that system until the next generation has learned to be a bum,/ state baby.
In New York, the grandmother can stay on welfare while claiming to be taking care of her daughters children, and that cycle will continue until one child wants to work, or have a business.
Welfare was meant to be a hand up, not a hand out.
Some people actually need that help, but most are just lazy before the handout, then they become lazier with each check they recieve.
There is almost no oversight, or accountability with the government agency, or those that recieve welfare.
I view the WELFARE government agency as ROBBING HOOD, each payday, the robbers take extorded money from the people in the hood, then give that money to the state babies thru their own agencies.
I have never heard, of any of these state babies ever giving thanks to the people, for their tax monies that keep these people from wanting to go to work.
Without the GOSPEL going forth, this practice will continue until Messiah returns.

Hmmmm, maybe when they decided that paying taxes was not part of the program.
You shall have no OTHER GODS before me.
Oh, maybe GOD Almighty does not have the resources.

Isaiah 55 verses 8 - 11
8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways My ways,”declares the LORD.
9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.
10 For just as rain and snow fall from heaven and do not return without watering the earth, making it bud and sprout, and providing seed to sow and food to eat,
11 so My word that proceeds from My mouth will not return to Me empty, but it will accomplish what I please,and it will prosper where I send it.
