Easy Believeism proclaimed !!!

Many christians believe they must do something in order to be saved, such as repenting of ALL of their sins.

Others believe they must do good works to show that they have been saved.

Still others believe that GOD Almighty had chosen they and not others to be saved.



What does the Word of GOD Almighty say.

Matthew 11 verses 25 -30

Rest for the Weary

(Luke 10:21-24)



25 At that time Jesus declared, “I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because You have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

26 Yes, Father, for this was well-pleasing in Your sight.

27 All things have been entrusted to Me by My Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him.

28 Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.

29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”



Acts 16 verses 25 - 34

The Conversion of the Jailer



25 About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them.

26 Suddenly a strong earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. At once all the doors flew open and everyone’s chains came loose.

27 When the jailer woke up and saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself, presuming that the prisoners had escaped.

28 But Paul called out in a loud voice, “Do not harm yourself! We are all here!”

29 Calling for lights, the jailer rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas.

30 Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”

31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, you and your household.”

32 Then Paul and Silas spoke the word of the Lord to him and to everyone in his house.

33 At that hour of the night, the jailer took them and washed their wounds. And without delay, he and all his household were baptized.

34 Then he brought them into his home and set a meal before them. So he and all his household rejoiced that they had come to believe in God.

I guess Paul and Silas were wrong telling the man that all he had to do was to BELIEVE in the Messiah,

Bad Paul and Silas for misleading the man.



Ephesians 2 verses 1 -10

1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,

2 in which you used to walk when you conformed to the ways of this world and of the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the sons of disobedience. 3 All of us also lived among them at one time, fulfilling the cravings of our flesh and indulging its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature children of wrath.

4 But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

5 made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our trespasses. It is by grace you have been saved!

6 And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,

7 in order that in the coming ages He might display the surpassing riches of His grace, demonstrated by His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.





8 For it is by grace you have been saved through faith, and this not from yourselves; it is the gift of God,

9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

10 For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance as our way of life.a



There are a lot more, but these should be enough to show that the message of the Grace of GOD Almighty is an easy yoke, and a light burden.

I would take Messiahs easy believeism any day of the week.

Jesus saves! Just Believe in Jesus and what he done at the Cross. Shed His blood for the sins of Mankind.

FYI - Easy believism is a derogatory term used by opponents of the view that one needs only to believe in Jesus in order to be saved.

I hope readers under when I rib Quiznos. It’s done good naturally. Quiz is a pretty nice guy, just needs some light correction now!! But then again, sometimes he needs some SERIOUS (I mean like MAJOR) correction now and then!
