Posted : 19 Apr, 2020 09:02 PM Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. One issue surfaces in several of Paul's letters: What GOOD is the LAW? The Law reveals a basic code of morality. The law is good for one thing: Exposing sin. vs. 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. He goes on to state the following: 22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. Then down to vs.25 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. 8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Carnal Vs. Spiritual) What Paul is saying is we need help to serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code. so my question is :What exactly DID Yeshua nail to the cross? Was it ordinances that was against the populace? The sin record. I think so. Any thoughts? Post Reply

We have much work to do and has been needed for possibly years on this forum!? Imagine anyone calling themselves a "Christian" and accusing the Messiah as being a law breaker! I had to pinch myself to see if I was reading a bad dream on this forum! But Noooo the devils "disciple" Richard is for real! A quick note here to say this thread of the abuse of Paul's writings on the LAW is a long time coming on this forum. It will be a great study but we will have to put up with Richard's disrespectful same old copy and paste, his "preaching" and no discussion from him as he attempts to talk down to us! Its been many MOONTHS on this forum I have witnessed Richard7744 BUTCHER Paul's writings and now perhaps we can finally exposed his false out of context teachings! I know you was asking questions AboundingGrace of what KJVonly is saying but I can assure you from her past many moonths ago posts that she is in no way saying we need to do animal sacrifices, nor teaching that circumcision is some kind of continual "sign" yet today for YHWH's people and soooooo much more she has stated before about the Torah LAW. I agree David she has NOT said or implied anything to do with "ceremonial law keeping or salvation by keeping the law or anything Paul contrary to Paul’s teaching about grace" when it comes to the contextual teachings of Paul. Now just a little something to think about in what Richard the pathetic7744 false teacher states here now in this thread. Do you find it strange that Richard wants us to buy into his self "facts" that are contrary to the CONTEXT of the Bible that he claims Messiah the Son is at WAR with His Father over His perfect LAW, to teach a different NT LAW??? Note how Richard makes out the Messiah to be a MORAL LAW breaker about the Sabbath, that His Father was in error ever making that LAW! Let that sink in when you REASON that out in your mind and heart! Secondly note how Richard claims the REST of the binding TORAH LAW about diet given is NOW supposedly a HUGE MISTAKE by the Father YHWH to EVER give such a LAW and once again the Son comes along to correct the Father! Absurdity, right!? But that is not all, as you have "heard it said" by many Christians today that "dietary laws" were nailed to the pole/tree with all the other sins of mankind! Is that not "what we have heard" from so many denominations today??? Is that Biblical? Does it make sense that Father YHWH would send a part of Himself, His original WORD, put Himself in flesh, call it His Son, disagree with Himself and DIE to cleans all UNCLEAN animals He originally instructed NOT to eat??? LOL! Back to work, will be a long day! You all think about that but more so pray about it and if you got time now to DIG into the WORD like the apostles did and "see if these things be so" in the Bible, then do so! Post Reply

Posted : 20 Apr, 2020 10:02 AM Like he does all of scripture, Richard picks and chooses what he will keep and what he will toss aside. He’s big guns against tattoos and whatever else he can’t stand but misses all those verses about loving your enemies and a whole lot more from the Old Testament. Its one of the 7 wonders of heresy that some people still believe the Old Testament teaches salvation by works!! Post Reply

Galatians 3:10-13: "ALL WHO RELY ON OBSERVING THE LAW ARE UNDER A CURSE, for it is written "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the {OT} law, locked up until faith should be revealed. I've never read anything by him or heard him speak. As to my comments, Paul said we fulfill the law as we act in love toward others (Romans 13). In that passage he goes on to quote the part of the ten commandments that relate to our relationship with others. In Romans 14 he states a general principle as to outward practices. In dealing with those who debate over what foods to eat or not eat, and what days to observe or not observe, he says "the kingdom of God is not food or drink, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit." That’s no surprise, if the false prophet is willing to tell lies about “Jesus breaking many laws” then l expect the false prophet to tell lies about me as well. Jesus predicted as much here: John 15:20 Remember what I told you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also.
