Posted : 25 Mar, 2020 09:35 PM CountryIvy and MorganTackett29, Is it sad or what that Richard7744 makes lies up about Christians like you Morgan, claiming you stated "you believe everyone that teaches against it (flat earth) is evil!!" when you Morgan said nothing of anything close to that as CountryIvy said. This is what Richard7744 does when ANYONE says anyhing he does not approve of! He makes up LIES about people by changing what they actually say! Look what he does with the Bible when it does not agree with him? He changes it by removing words like in Isaiah 9:6 and other verses in months past I have been on this forum! Richard7744 just does not like the fact that the Father had His own set apart WORD in the beginning, then put Himself in human flesh, called it His Only begotten Son and gave it a name of Yah'shua the Messiah! Now help me out here. In this very thread, scroll up to where Richard7744 posted last, about 4 paragraphs down from his beginning post and tell me if you see missing words in Isaiah 9:6 that he supposedly "quoted" yet is NOT an accurate quote! Check it out and then ask Richard7744 why he keeps doing that please??? Here below is what Isaiah 9:6 says in the NIV and KJV for just two examples! "Isaiah 9:6: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, EVERLASTING FATHER, Prince of Peace." Because you keep babbling about YHWH - yet your profile says you are non-denominational. So what are you? "G-d" is a pagan deity, The father's name is YHWH without the vowels and every serious Christian Bible student knows that! Are you a Jehovah Witness, SDA, Mormon or what? Jesus came in the new testament to show us how to live...and he died for our sins. If you are Jewish and want to use the old names that is fine with me. But please don't present yourself as a Christian. Judaism does not accept the central Christian teaching that Jesus Christ is the Messiah foretold in the Old Testament. you can be a Jew (racially) and not practice Judaism. But you cannot practice both Judaism and Christianity at the same time. SO, teddy - decide which one you are and stick with it. Post Reply

All scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching. 2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. Keep in mind that, at the time that the New Testament and, thus, the above, was written, the only scripture available was the Old Testament. If God called himself by a certain name then there is nothing wrong with us using it, too. Post Reply
