I've noticed lately more and more people "jumping to delusions" and I've wondered why. I know the internet spawns delusions right and left under the premise they are exposing hidden conspiracies. But why are "christian" people so quick to accept them?
I have a theory. It isn't so much about intelligence, but identity. Such people are looking for identity. They want their identity to be somehow different than most people. Therefore they find their identity in the opposite of whatever most people believe.
We are to find our identity in Jesus the Christ, in Y'shua ha Mashiach, not in fringe theories right or wrong. How do we do this? Simple just follow the teachings of Jesus in your heart, mind and actions. Simple, but not easy. It is something those who have found their in Christ 'practice' to be better at.
It is much easier to focus on fringe conspiracy theories than to actually follow Jesus.
We should also note that what LittleDavid posted about a "different Jesus' is spot on about Chuckk's teachings and Chuckk has been trying to convince us of a "different Jesus" to the that of the Bible because Chuckk says the Bible is not of "G_d" but of men.
**JESUS IS NOT GOD** even though the New Testament confirms that Jesus is **GOD** **SEVEN TIMES** and is called **LORD** **OVER 200 times. Jesus is called **GOD** 3 times in the Book of John which proves that the book of John was npt inspired by God.
**Jesus was not conceived by a **VIRGIN** which shows the books of Matthew and Luke were not inspired by God

**JESUS DID NOT CHANGE ANY OLD TESTAMENT LAWS**: even though the 4 Gospels show that Jesus changed many Old Testament Laws which proves the 4 Gospels were not inspired by God.
**The 14 Pauline Epistles were not inspired by God since Paul wrote over 10 times that we are no longer under the supervision of Old Testament Laws.
**While Acts 22:14-15 and Acts 26:16-18 and 2 Peter 3:15,16 show that Paul was chosen by God the Son and God the Father as the top witness of God;s Word to the Jews and Gentiles and therefore the book of Acts and 2nd Peter were not inspired by God!
**The Book of Revelation was written by Jesus since He told his angel what to inspire John to write as per Revelation 22:16:. And so if you teach that all of God's **FAITHFUL** saints are not **CALLED ** and **CHOSEN** by God you are committing an **UNPARDONABLE SIN** as per Revelation 22:18,19 above. Those who fall away have never been **CALLED** and **CHOSEN** by God! Good works by God's **CALLED** and **CHOSEN** saints are not done to earn their salvation as Khutzpah and Quiznos teach; but are done by God's **CHOSEN** saints because of countless **ETERNAL REWARDS** for faithfdul and loving service.
Titus 3:3,4: At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and **LOVE** of God our Savior appeared , He saved us, **NOT BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUS THINGS WE HAD DONE**, but because of **HIS MERCY**!!
John 1:12,13: To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, **NOR OF A HUMAN DECISION** or a husband's will but, **BORN OF GOD**!!
John 6:37,39,44,65: Jesus says, "**ALL** that the Father gives Me **WILL** come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will **NEVER** drive away... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father who sent Me **DRAWS HIM**, and I will raise him up at the Last Day!!... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father has **ENABLED THEM**!!"
But since we are not God and we do not know who He has **CALLED** and **CHOSEN** we still preach and teach **WHOSOEVER WILL**!
Ephesians 2:8,9: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, through **FAITH**—and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**—not by works. So that no one can boast. For we are **GOD'S WORKMANSHIP**, created in Christ Jesus to do **GOOD WORKS**, which God prepared in advance for us to do!
Revelation 16:27: Jesus says, "For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and the He will **REWARD** ech person according to what they have done!"

Ever since the temple was destroyed in AD 70 Jews like Khutzpah and Quiznos believe that blood sacrifices do not forgive sins and therefore the blood of Jesus, who they believe is not even God, can not make atonement for sins. And so if you teach the the **BLOOD OF JESUS** does not forgive sins you are committing an **UNPARDONABLE SIN** for **TAKING WORDS AWAY** from the book of Revelation as per Revelation 22:18-19 above!!

The New Jerusaem is described in Revelation 21:9 to Revelation 22:5. The New Jerusalem will be 12,000 stadia long, high and wide as per Revelation 21:16. A stadia is 606 feet long which is the exact same length as the ancient Greek stadium. 606 feet times 12,000 equals 7,272,000 feet which is 1377 miles plus 1,440 feet. A mile is exactly 5,280 feet. {1377 times 5,280 feet equal 7,270,560 feet.} And so the New Jerusalem will be exactly 1377 miles plus 1,440 feet long, wide and high!!

There are some who teach that our ETERNAL HOME THE NEW JERUSALEM WITH ITS NEW HEAVEN AND NEW EARTH IS JUST SYMBOLIC and will not take place in the future. This would include the Preterists who believe in an earthly Kingdom and that all the future prophecies in the book of Revelation and in the Olivet teaching of Jesus in Matthew 24,25, Mark 13 and Luke 21 were totally completed in AD 70.
Did you know that Martin Luther did not believe that the books of James and Revelation were not part of God's Word?? And John Calvin wrote his famous institutes of God's Word which included every book in our present Bible and **DID NOT INCLUDE THE BOOK OF REVELATION.???
Presently the Roman Catholic, Lutheran and Calvinistic churches claim that Revelation is part of God's Word. However, most Lutheran and Calvinistic Churches such as the Christian Reformed, the Protestant Reformed and Orthodox Presbyterian churches have a completely symbolic view of Revelation and rarely even mention the words of Revelation in any of their sermons. And the Roman Catholic church only believe in a future Earthly Kingdom which will be ruled by Roman Catholic Popes.

Its sooooo obvious that this thread was created by Chuckk/Khutzpah for the sole purpose in putting down REAL Christians like KJVonly and me for proclaiming Biblical truth on the CREATION design of the earth by Scripture! Chuck uses buzz words like "delusions" and "internet spawned delusions" and "hidden conspiracies" all in ATTEMPT to silencing TRUTH of what the Bible says about CREATION design of the earth WRITTEN in Scripture! NOT happening dude!
Chuck CLAIMS with no warrant, that REAL Christians are people so quick to accept "conspiracies" by Chuck's buzz word(s) like "delusions" and "identity" and "hidden conspiracies" as if that is PROOF they do so in such a hurry! LOL! CAREFUL Bible study is needed in discovering the earth does not move, its the sun, moon and stars only that move by the MANY stories in the Bible! Notice that Chuck CLAIMS that REAL Christians should go by the MAJORITY of what "most people believe" and not be different in discovering TRUTH in minority! But what does the Bible have to say about what "most people (majority) believe" and do (broadly travel. enter wide gate) to those minority traveling a different narrow path/road or even entering a narrow gate???

Two things:
first, you are right that we should find our identity in the Lord Jesus Christ. You refer to fringe theories. I don't know what exactly you mean by that. But our identity in Christ MUST be defined by Scripture.
second, you contrast fringe theories and delusions with what most people believe. Oh, that most people were saved, trusting in the Lord Jesus for their salvation from sin, believing only in Him and his death and resurrection for their sins! Most people do not believe that. Most people who are religious add things to the gospel of the grace of God. What most people believe is a lie or a mixed up gospel.
