To Tothmax and King James Only:

"And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd." - John 10:16

- How many Shepherds are there? -

You two read the Bible differently than I. You consider every word an utterance of G-D and therefore must be creatively harmonized. I on the other hand consider the words of Messiah to trump every other word and therefore all else is interpreted in light of Messiah's teachings.

There is only ONE Shepherd!

Y'all want to follow other shepherds? The Bible speaks about false shepherds quite a bit. I'm sticking with Jesus!

Why do you post this in reference to God:

"G-D"

Is this an abbreviation?

confusing because other times you say GOD Almighty.

What part didn't you understand about God saying there would be pastors? I even posted the scripture for you previously. Sure, we know who the "Good Shepherd" is, but that doesn't mean that these are those who help as leaders. What about Peter, Paul, and the like? Context is important. David was a "shepherd", but he wasn't the "Good Shepherd." If there were no leaders under God, then who would teach and help guide the flock?

Khutzpa quote

There is only ONE Shepherd!

End quote

Yes, one Shepard, one Annointed Christ, Yeshua HaMashiac a.k.a. Jesus of Nazareth, King of King and Lord of Lords.

But aren't there many false Christs and other Jesus's that have and are still being preached along with various false gospels?

Which one do you subscribe to?

Surely you are not in the Talmud camp?

Can you clarify your translation you quote from?

Curious.

There's "speaking in tongues" and then there's speaking in Chuck. One requires a interpreter. The other requires a psychiatrist trained in parachuckle activity.

King James Only, tothmax:

"So there will be one flock, one shepherd." - John 10:16

Anything you post from the Tanach concerning the legitimacy of future shepards is an anachronism. Anything you post from the Brit Hadasha is subject to Mashiach.

Chuckk quote

Anything you post from the Tanach concerning the legitimacy of future shepards is an anachronism. Anything you post from the Brit Hadasha is subject to Mashiach.

End quote

So, to put it in laymans terms:

forgive me if I am wrong here...

Anything you post from the old testament concerning the conformity to law or rules to future shepards is old fashioned . Anything you post form the new covenant is subject to Messiah.

Chuck learned the word "anachronism" last week so he is adding it to his posts. Don't be surprised if you see it used again very soon with his ideology.

@toth

Toth, you never answered my question about requirements for a pastor.

By the way, the word 'some' should not be in the Ephesians text.

By the way, wneh Messiah says the He is THE good shepherd, He means that He is the ONLY good shepherd.

Read John 10, what the GOOD shepherd is and does, then tell me if any man fits the bill.

Modern days there are Church buildings. So Believers do worship there .

You're ignorant if you think Jesus disapproves of Church buildings and people going.

You need to seek the Lord and you wouldn't have so many Rediculous threads here and postings.

Jesus did gather with sinners to teach them about God. Also He taught. His disciples.

We don't have to set outdoors and eat while a minister is teaching the Bible.
