NOW, if you can find in the Bible where it says the torment is never ending (eternal) I will mail you 500 bucks! Its a promise! No one has won this GIFT from me to this day! So get to it! Post Reply

We just need to pray that that those who don't know Him will receive Him before it's too late. I know not everyone will be saved, but it still doesn't hurt to pray. Post Reply

But looks like he is out and I still don't have answers from "inspired" Richard on the subject of what is "for ever and ever" and or how long the torment goes on.... Lets look at the verses he provided with NO COMMENT from Richard for some strange reason! He gives the below verses and I add the focus part of my question to him with short to the point of judgment of sinners in the verses for sake of space, how long that judgment goes on, if indeed the torment is eternal! REVELATION 20:10 "tormented day and night for ever and ever." REVELATION 19:20 "cast alive into a lake of fire" REVELATION 14:9-11 10."tormented with fire" 11"smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: no rest day nor night," MATTHEW 13:41,42,49.50 "cast them into a furnace of fire: wailing and gnashing of teeth." OK! Interesting! So Richard ASSUMES the torment is eternal but do we have an example or ensample of what is eternal in judgment of sin and how long the torment goes on? Welllllll YES we do, the good old Bible tells us so! Jeremiah 50:40 CSB "Just as God demolished Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring towns--this is the LORD's declaration--so no one will live there; no human being will stay in it even temporarily as a temporary resident." 2 Peter 2:4-6 CSB "For if God didn't spare the angels who sinned but cast them into hell and delivered them in chains of utter darkness to be kept for judgment; 5. and if he didn't spare the ancient world, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others, when he brought the flood on the world of the ungodly; 6. and if he reduced the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to ashes and condemned them to extinction, making them an example of what is coming to the ungodly;" 2 Peter 2:4-6 KJV "For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5. And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6. And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly; Wow! So here in this example of the SINFUL cities of Sodom and Gomorrha we find that they were BURNED UP, brought to ASHES and no one will live there; no human being will stay in it even temporarily as a temporary resident" even to this day in 2020! This is amazing truth of the LOVE of Yahuwah that he even LOVES continual sinners to the point of putting them out of their misery to death, ashes as an example of His judgment of sin! Revelation 20:10 - Even though the torment may go on for day and night, no rest, for the duration of the sin that must be paid, however great, we know eventually those sinners will become ashes in that lake of fire! What THEN is the final Judgment in the end of age? Malachi 4:1,3 NASB "For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze," says the LORD of hosts, "so that it will leave them neither root nor branch." 3."You will tread down the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day which I am preparing," says the LORD of hosts.
