I once took a week or so to dig into the Flat Earth doctrine with an open mind. I could not find anything convincing. In fact, I couldn't even find anything puzzling. I don't see how a flat earth vs a spherical earth has any impact on YHWH whatsoever. The only thing it impacts religiously is a hyper literal reading of Scripture. The Jewish part of me prevents me from a hyper literal reading of Scripture. That is a Church Doctrine that developed over time through compound misunderstandings of Scripture. Btw, even IF Scripture testified to a hyper literal reading it would be circular reasoning at best. I do not doubt for one second there is a world wide deception. But it has to do with the "gods" not with a flat earth. There is nothing to be gained by hiding a flat earth. There is plenty to gain by hiding the gods manipulation of us. There is no difference in a flat earth scenario and a spherical earth scenario, both are enclosed systems, the only difference is the size and makeup of the enclosed system. If you can provide me your best incontestable truth proving a flat earth (other than a hyper literal interpretation of Scripture) I will listen with an open mind. Post Reply

Guess what? Surveying large distances HAS to take into consideration of curvature and refraction. Here is some advice for you: Get off, getting off on your conspiracy web sites and read some unbiased information by people who have no horse in the race. PLEASE GOOGLE THIS: "Error and Correction for the Curvature of the Earth, and Refraction (Surveying)" It doesn't matter what articles come up - read them! Post Reply

One friend that is a bridge engineer! NONE of them take into account ANY kind of curvature of the earth. Even RAIL laid does not take into account of earth curvature and that's HUGE because engines can only climb grades so much height in distance!
