I just talked with him on the phone Richard7744 and he says they keep the WHOLE verse of "Ephesians 2:8,9: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, through **FAITH**—and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**—not by works. He went on to say that we are NOT saved by the law but saved by grace through FAITH just as the verse says! He said once we ARE saved, then by his power and might we go on to become "**GOD'S WORKMANSHIP**, created in Christ Jesus to do **GOOD WORKS**, which God prepared in advance for us to do!" Just as you stated!
Why are you singling out the Sabbath command? It is ONE of ten commandments, right? What if I quoted the Bible on how it says to put people to death that murder others and say to you its ok to murder now, not to have our current laws put criminals in prison for killing? Nobody is putting people to death for not keeping the Sabbath today because YHWH will judge those people when He comes! Same goes for WILLFULLY BREAKING any of the other 9 commandments that we have no man made laws to enforce those! Right? So do you think its ok to have other gods, images, take His name in vain, steal, murder, lie, covet, commit adultery etc??? YOU MAKE NO SENSE RICHARD???

Many 7th Day Adventists tell you that they believe that you are saved by grace through faith but then they add on the good works like the Sabbath Laws and the Unclean Food laws and tithing to the end of your life!!

AMEN Richard7744! That is exactly the verse my SDA friend says his "church" teaches from, he told me so! He said we are saved by grace through FAITH and NOT of ourselves, for it is a wonderful gift of our Creator! The very same verse Richard7744 quotes and keeps is the same verse my friend quotes from!!! The Bible does not say to "add on the good works" as Richard7744 states but we are to be "created in Christ Jesus to do **GOOD WORKS**, which God prepared in advance for us to do!" My SDA friend says they teach and keep this whole verse, so what's up with you Richard7744 saying they dont???
