What do you think of a child who says to their Daddy when asked to do something; "What are you gonna give me?"______________________Or a child that only comes around when they want something?_________Or a a person who is in a relationship or gets married, only for what they can get? ____________We are to be chasing relationship with GOD, not "rewards".______________Watch out for false prophets, they subtly led people astray.

Revelation 22:12 Jesus says, “Behold I am coming soon! My **REWARD** is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!”
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, “The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and **THEN** He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!”
Luke 6:29,30,35,36: Jesus says, "If someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them. Give to anyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back... Love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting anything back. Sorry Chuck, I will always listen to God over man. We are told to believe that He is a rewarder, as per my previous comment. How can I believe someone is a "rewarder" if I don't expect any type of reward from them. In fact, many of the rewards are listed, such as the crowns previously mentioned and it even tells us how to receive them.

You make Christianity into a works religion. Do this to get that!
Which totally circumvents the reason Jesus came, to show us the better way of relationship with God and THEN God will reward us.
It is so unfortunate so few understand Christianity. From what I see; "the times of the Gentiles" are almost fulfilled. Christianity has perverted the teachings of Jesus just as the Jews perverted the teachings of Moses,
Christianity is nearing its end. When Jesus returns, he will judge "Christianity" and that will be the end of it as you know it.

It is about works too. "Works" are what we do with out knowledge of the Truth. It's directly related to our faith. What good is it to say we have faith in something or Someone if we don't act accordingly?
James 2:20-21 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
