A challenge!
To finding me a physical body (flesh , blood and bone ) who ascended bodily into heaven .
I only see Y'shua's incorrupt >>>flesh<<< ascending into Heaven.
Y'shua was asked about who gets to claim a wife who had 7 husbands in the resurrection to try and trip him up .
It was the resurrection of the DEAD in question so when Y'shua answered that they know not the power of God who is the God of the living that they will neither marry nor be given in marriage but be like the ANGELS of heaven.
So , I am wondering about the body (if any) we will have when we die as Elijah and Moses were transfigured along with Christ when they appeared before the Apostles while on earth.
Before the death of Moses, his face glowed while in the presence of Jehovah on Mt. Sinai and he had to cover it with a veil when he came down off the mountain.
Do you think we will have our same look but just in a glorified body ?. I can't see us as just orbs of light floating around like what is captured on film and called spirits of the deceased.
I think when we die , we go to heaven if we are saved and the same power that resurrected Christ will do the same for us . It was a guarantee in the first century, proving the Diety of Christ when God both raised Him from the dead along with other saints and other phenomena like the 4 inch thick veil/curtain being torn from top to bottom in the Temple, the darkness that had covered the earth for hours and an earthquake. Even an attending Roman soldier said, "Surely this was the Son of God"
There were other resurrections in the Bible..
Elijah and Elisha both raised a child /boy from death. 1 Kings 17:17 and 2 Kings 4:32
An approaching band of invading Moabites were advancing upon a burial party , so they decided to ditch the deceased body in Elisha's grave and when the corpses touched the person revives. 2 Kings 13:20-21

Which is why , sadly, I think Y'shua was looked at as just another prophet. His raising Lazarus was nothing unique to them and when He claimed He was God they called him a blasphemer.
Some say he did not die but only fainted. His plural cavity filled up with fluid and when the solider pierced him, he shed blood and water. That is how they checked for death. They knew exactly how long it would take and why Pilate was wondering if he had died so quickly.
The Biblical challenge is find me a body that entered into Heaven other than Jesus.

Some say Enoch went into heaven, Some say Elijah and Moses also. I think I clarified in my other thread that they didn't so I was wondering if there was any others mentioned that I overlooked.
You might find a interesting rabbit trail in that "flesh and blood will not inherit the kingdom of heaven"king. And Jesus was said to be flesh and bone, not flesh and blood.
Yes, he said my kingdom is not of this world. He told Nicodemus that a man must be born of the Spirit to enter in.
We are in the world but not OF the world .
People seem to confuse this issue.
They can't see Christ reigning on earth because they look at it with carnal lenses.
Interesting that God who was invisible made everything visible but we as his treasured people are to look at the visible and see the invisible instead.
Not a coincidence to me. We are told to walk in Faith of which is it impossible to please Him without it.
