Christianity repeats the mistakes of Judaism. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Why does history repeat it self? Because human nature doesn't change. Moses received the Law about 1200 BC. About 600 BC Babylonian Scribes compiled and edited the Law, Prophets and Writings. It was at this time Rabbis started coming to power. Rabbis bestowed power on themselves through interpretation of the Written Law creating 'Case Law'. A power never given them by God. Around 500 AD 'Case Law' through interpretation became so vast it was written down; the "Talmud". About 200 years later the Talmud was completed and closed. Judaism now had two sources of Law, one from God and one from themselves.----------------------------------------
Enter Jesus who calls out the Jewish Religious Leaders for usurping the authority of the Written Law through interpretation and putting the authority of their Case Law over the authority of the Written Law.------------------------------------------------
After the resurrection and ascension of Jesus. After the 12 Apostles are passed on. The Church begins to compile and edit the New Testament. The process begins to repeat itself. Christian religious leaders begin to usurp the teachings of Jesus through "Traditions of the Fathers", "Church Tradition", "Creed", "Doctrine" and "Systematic Theology" - the equivalent of a Christian Talmud. Now it isn't enough to just believe in Jesus and follow his teachings. You must believe and follow the teachings of "Christianity" or be declared anathema and condemned to eternal torment in Hell. ----------------------------------------------------
As the Jewish religious leaders usurped the Authority of Moses so Christian religious leaders have usurped the Authority of Jesus. History repeats itself.
I hear you about the satanic mud slinging. I forgot just how much this person has ruined this section for discussion. I've learned just to scroll past, but not everyone can do this, especially newcomers.
If you look, you'll see there are certain people in this world who despite claiming a relationship with God through Jesus continue to chase people away from Jesus by their actions even after it's repeatedly pointed out to them.
These same people seem to gravitate to cultish forms of Christianity then become self proclaimed experts in whatever flavor of cult they have joined. I often wonder if there is a spiritual component to this or if it's only mental.
Remember the prophetic slave girl who kept followed Paul telling everyone to he was from God and he had the way to salvation. After a few days Paul became annoyed and cast a demon out of her.

I don't know why this person behaves as he does. But it sure ruins things for everyone else. I think this may be intentional as he thinks he has the only way to God therefore he must silence or cover up anything or anyone that doesn't conform to his beliefs. This is how he thinks he is serving God.

2 Peter 3:15,16: Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our **DEAR BROTHER PAUL ALSO WROTE WITH THE WISDOM THAT GOD GAVE HIM**! He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand {For the Lost}. which IGNORANT AND UNSTABLE PEOPLE DISTORT, {Like chuckles} as they do other Scriptures to **THEIR OWN DESTRUCTION**!

She provoked them to get arrested..maybe that was the reason for her outcry.
I have had people say wonderful things about me only to find out through discernment that it was to hurt me when they twisted the knife .Build me up to tear me down.
The Bible was in a state of flux before it was canonized. Nothing big, but still not exactly what we have now. However men do change the Bible through claiming to have the authority of interpretation.
Christianity and Judaism are both religions. A relationship with God is just that: A relationship with God.

Okay. I admit having a bit of fun with that. But the principle is solid. It seems most in Christianity turn a blind eye to it, but the World readily recognizes the spirit of religiosity.
Matthew 28:18-20: Jesus says, "**ALL AUTHORITY** in heaven and on earth has been given to **ME**. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations... Teaching them to **OBEY EVERYTHING I HAVE COMMANDED YOU**. And surely I am with you always!!"
I Corinthians 9:21: I am under **CHRIST'S LAW**!!
Galatians 6:2: Fulfill the **LAW OF CHRIST**!!
Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the {**OT**} law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE {**OT**} LAW!!"

We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' know that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified.!"
Galatians 2:20,21: The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
Galatians 3:10-13: "All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." **CHRIST REDEEMED US FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW* by becoming a curse for us!

Hebrews 7:18,19: The former regulation is SET ASIDE because it was weak and useless; for the law made nothing perfect, and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.!
Hebrews 8:8,9,13: "The time is coming." says the Lord, "when I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah".... By calling this Covenant "NEW", He has made the first one OBSOLETE; and what is OBSOLETE and aging will soon disappear."
Hebrews 8:6: But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which He is Mediator is SUPERIOR TO THE OLD ONE, and it is founded on better promises.
Colossians 2:16,17: Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a *SHADOW* of the things that were to come, the reality, however, is found in Christ!!!
