The devil finds weak Christians to use to devour others like Lions in the Coliseum.
Why would he go after those he already has?
So many times I have had and still do people who love the Lord but attack me mercilessly! I pray for them often. How do you handle the enemies attacks? Do you get bitter , take revenge, or weep? Are you longsuffering and try and help them see their error?
Let me express it this way as you are family to me :
1 Samuel 18:1
And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
2 And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father's house.
3 Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.
Versions that say the same thing differently are not confusing but helpful. People often explain the same things differently.
What’s confusing is old obsolete archaic language that no longer effectively communications as it once did.
Language changes over time. In fact, the purpose of the KVJ was to help communicate the Word of God more clearly.
KJV translators even openly welcomed future improvement.
If it’s wrong for translators to update language to make it understandable then isn't also wrong for you to speak anything other than King James language in your daily texting and speaking. Where are your King James thee’s and thou’s? After all, why allow the world to reshape “God’s language” ?

By far the worst example is: After Mark 16:8 all of the major translations **EXCEPT THE KING JAMES VERSION** have a footnote which reads: "The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have Mark 16:9-20."
And Mark 16:16-18: Wrongly states: "Whoever believes and is **BAPTIZED WILL BE SAVED** .... And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands, and they will **DRINK DEADLY POISON, it will not hurt them at all; they will **PLACE THEIR HANDS** on sick people, and they will get well??"
By comparing other Scripture with these mistakes we know that Baptismal Regeneration is wrong and even in the early church not every saint spoke in other languages. and there is not one other Scripture that tells us to **DRINK DEADLY POISON** and to **PICK UP SNAKES** some of which are deadly. There is also a Scripture which contradicts **PLACING HANDS ON SICK PEOPLE WILL MAKE THEM WELL** in James 5:14,15!
Of course those denominations which believe in Baptismal Regeneration and many Charismatic churches believe these verses are the inspired words of God thus agreeing with the KJV version???
And so the KJV version is the only version that implies that the extremely Satanic Mark 16:16-18 are the inspired Words of God. The KJV version is also written in 16th Century English which is very hard for 20th Century Christians to understand.

That is rather redundant in our modern tongue as we are no longer in Elizabethan times. BUT why read Shakes-peare? Why quote him in the old obsolete "archaic"mother tongue of the English? It would be sinful in my humble opinion to update his cadence and verbiage. Can you compare the KJV language to modern translations when you speak them outloud? They fall flat ! Call me aesthetic but I prefer the KJV for it's poetic language . It's beautiful and so is the Lord!

Little David: William Bell and Preston were both 7th Day Adventists. It is interesting to note that KJVonly also believes many other doctrines of the 7th Day Adventists; such as obeying about half of the OT Sabbath Laws and the KJV only Bible and the belief in Annihilation rather than eternal hell. The 7th Day Adventists is the only protestant denomination that believes in Preterism which believes that every Bible Prophecy in the New Testament including Revelation was entirely completed by an **EARTHLY** Kingdom in AD 70.
About 80 percent of the Roman Catholics also believe in a different form of Preterism since they also believe in an **EARTHLY** Kingdom of God headed by Roman Catholic Popes which began in Ad 65 when Peter died and was succeeded by Roman Catholic Popes as the head of an **EARTHLY** Kingdom of God. And in the future they believe that Roman Catholic Popes will rule the entire *EARTHLY**world from Rome.

Shakespeare was originally written in Early Modern English for theater not to teach men how to live holy lives.
The Word of God is not theater but is in reality inspired writing not originally written in any form English, so you’re comparing apples and oranges. However, if you prefer to read archaic English style writing no one is saying you can’t
