**SALVATION IS 100% FREE**
Titus 3:3,4: At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the kindness and **LOVE** of God our Savior appeared , He saved us, **NOT BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUS THINGS WE HAD DONE**, but because of **HIS MERCY**!!
John 1:12,13: To all who received Him, to those who believed in His name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, **NOR OF A HUMAN DECISION** or a husband's will but, **BORN OF GOD**!!
John 6:37,39,44,65: Jesus says, "**ALL** that the Father gives Me **WILL** come to Me, and whoever comes to Me I will **NEVER** drive away... And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that I shall **LOSE NONE** of all that He has given Me, but raise them up at the Last Day.... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father who sent Me **DRAWS HIM**, and I will raise him up at the Last Day!!... No one can come to Me **UNLESS** the Father has **ENABLED THEM**!!"
Ephesians 2:8,9: For it is by **GRACE** you have been saved, through **FAITH**—and this **NOT FROM YOURSELVES**, it is the **GIFT OF GOD**—not by works. So that no one can boast. Romans 6:23: The wages of sin is death, but the **GIFT OF GOD** is **ETERNAL LIFE**!
God's Word clearly teaches that faith, salvation, the Holy Spirit and eternal life are all 100 percent **FREE GIFTS OF GOD** and that the two main incentives for doing good works is being thankful to God for these amazing **FREE GIFTS** and to **EARN HEAVENLY ETERNAL REWARDS** which God has promised His chosen saints for faithful and loving service. Whereas those who believe in **SINLESS PERFECTION** believe that we have to earn our salvation and eternal life by doing **GOOD WORKS** and being **SINLESS** and that the only eternal reward is gaining eternal life by what we do; and if we commit even one small sin after we are saved we will loose our salvation and eternal life. And so man and not God becomes the Author and Finisher of our salvation.
*}**AND SO SALVATION IS 100 PERCENT **FREE** but **ETERNAL REWARDS** are 100 percent **EARNED**!!
Ephesians 6:8: Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will **REWARD** everyone for what ever good he does!
Revelation 22:12 Jesus says, “Behold I am coming soon! My **REWARD** is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!”
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, “The Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels and **THEN** He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done!”
Luke 11:33,34: Jesus says, "Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a **TREASURE** IN HEAVEN** that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. For where your **TREASURE** is, there your **HEART** will be also!"
Luke 14:13,14: Jesus says, "When you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, and you will be **BLESSED**. Although they cannot repay you you will be **REPAID AT THE RESURRECTION** of the righteous!"
2 Corinthians 5:9,10: We make it our goal to please Him... for we must all appear before the Judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.
1 Corinthians 3:13-15: His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work. The **CROWN** of Life for those who persevere under trials and persecution:
James 1:12: Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the **CROWN OF LIFE** that God has promised to those who love Him!
Revelation 2:10 Jesus says, “Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer... Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you the **CROWN OF LIFE**!”
Matthew 5:11,12: Jesus says, “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your **REWARD IN HEAVEN**!”
Luke6:22,23: Jesus says, "Blessed are you when people hate you, when they reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man. Rejoice in that day and **JUMP FOR JOY**, because great is your **REWARD IN HEAVEN**!"

Did you know you are actually asking two questions when you ask us to ponder - "IF a person is saved by obeying the law, then why did Messiah have to die."

Ok, Inquiring minds want to know!!
We don't have our own righteousness! We are made in the image of God and Adam and Eve sinned and caused a separation from God causing them to not have eternal life!
God made us to be holy like him! Things were not as he ordained and designed it anymore due to sin .
That would drive me crazy too!
So since Yahweh knows the end from the beginning and NOTHING takes him by surprises , the Lamb of God was slain before the foundation of the world!
God loves us all so much and he would NOT allow satan to prosper. He had to wait until the time was ripe for him to empty himself into the likeness of sinful flesh to condemn sin in the flesh. What man cannot do on his own!
He humbled himself for us in human flesh to SAVE us so we could be in fellowship with him once more. He doesn't NEED us ..he LOVES us enough to die a horrible , humiliating death to be able to make a bridge back to him. Restoration!

That previous post is why he had to die.
Now to does the law save.
No, the Mosaic law didn't save because it was not perfect.. It credited your obedience to Yahweh awaiting the Messiah.
The sacrifices could not take away sin. Only appease.
So, what about today? We have Jesus perfect sacrifice that does take away sin.
Jesus gave us commands . Like I previously stated , if a man hates his brother, it is written that he has no eternal life in him. So if we don't follow the commandments, are we saved? Even the man in Corinthians was left to satan for the destruction of the flesh because he took his fathers wife as his . I did not read anywhere of this man repenting. Just Paul saying that this would take place.
You cannot be holy to BE saved. That is works. It happens when you are justified WHEN you are saved. You are deemed righteous before God, so THEN you are to live holy. I certainly wasn't holy before conversion. I was eventually broken by my sinful lifestyle and Yahweh had been wooing me and I repented .

What about the verse , work out your own salvation?
Now maybe salvation was not complete prior to 70 A.D...but we must look into these thing and why I don't have all the answers. We are not suddenly born again and BAM! have ALL the answers there as a download! We have to study and pray and wait on the Lord.

Do you mind your parents to STAY in a family?
No..you know you are family. They wouldn't throw you out for minor disobediences . I can understand if you was so bad on a continual basis that it disrupted the entire dynamics and corrupted the siblings . Then you would send that person away to save the siblings from being like the other.

Study , learn and apply God's Word.
If you want a job you have an application to fill out. You seek a job or you wouldn't waste your time filling it out. Likewise don't waste time just reading but apply it.

Hmmmm, the first thought that comes to my mind is you are asking two questions and trying to make it one!
Now I have to be honest Grace because I cannot answer the first part of your two original combined questions with Bible verses, when you stated - "Please answer the post with the Word of GOD Almighty." but for reasons below I can explain.
Your first question - is "a person saved by obeying the law" and you will not believe how easy it is to answer that question. There IS NO Bible verse or verses that says you can be saved by obeying all the Torah Law which is also the 10 commandments in it. The Law NEVER has, nor will it EVER save anyone. Now there is verses that say the law does not save anyone because we are saved by Grace through Faith! Ahhhh so Faith saves us then? Faith in what or who? Faith in Yah'shua that died for our sins on the pole/tree!
Repent of those sins and be saved! Simple!
Here is the shocking part to some. NOBODY has obeyed all the LAW except one man. Yup its true, ONLY Yah'shua kept the Law perfectly and knew no sin. Surprised?
Which brings us to the second part of the question since we answered the first part that the law saves no one! Soooo "then why did Messiah have to die."? Ummm well first of all he did not have to die, he did not even WANT to die! Remember He asked His Father if the cup (of death) could be removed from Him (Luke 22:42) yet He OBEYED the will of His Father that sent Him to die for all the sins of all nations in the whole round flat earth.
So the answer is because of the sins of ALL the people on the whole round flat earth, the Messiah then OBEYED the will of His Father and died for sinners! This "sin" word keeps coming up in the answers to the questions of this thread! It now begs A NEW question of what is the definition of sin in the Bible?
1 John 3:4-6 (KJV)
4. Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
5. And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
6. Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Ooooh I get it now! The LAW was made to identify what sin is, sin is the transgression of the law. Simple no? So what is transgression and or who transgresseth also the law?
Strongs #458, Greek "anomia" - illegality, i.e. violation of law or wickedness, iniquity. trangress the law, unrighteousness!
Oh wait a minute now! This definition is stepping on my toes and that hurts! So if I willfully trangress the law, I'am also wicked and unrighteousness??? BUT BUT BUT I'am saved by Grace through FAITH! Oh wait though, salvation we discovered above, we know does not come by keeping the law and SOOOOO the LAW only condemns me to death if I break it! The Law does not give life by keeping it, it ONLY takes life when you break it! Interesting. But only WHEN I may CHOOSE to break it, is WHEN it becomes a problem for my Eternal LIFE! So its up to me by FAITH to CHOOSE to "sinneth not" by His power and might. Wow!
