I will take the liberty to draw from some examples in life to help illustrate this thread..
I am sure most of you have at some point in your lives seen a movie or documentary about prisoners on death row.
"Dead Man walking!...Dead Man walking" the jailer shouts out as a prisoner is led to the electric chair, aka"'Ol Sparky".
And why did they say that? because the man was dead already.
Likewise, there are alot of people today who are unsaved and on their way to eternal death and separation from God.They are dead yet still live.

Jesus is our Propitiation. (Romans 3:25. 1 John 2:2. 1 John 4:10) A sacrifice one time for all. (Hebrews 10:12) God manifested in the flesh ( 1 timothy 3:16, 1 John 4:2, Hosea 13:4, Mark 12:32, Isaiah 45:21, 2 John 1:7), who was begotten of the Father (John 1:18 John 3:16 John 1:14), was born of the virgin Mary (Luke 1:34), to save the world (John 3:16), to reconcile us back to the Father (Colossians 1:20,Ephesians 2:16) because of Adam's sin which separated us..(Genesis 3:24 Isaiah 59:1-2)
Jesus being without sin but in the likeness of sinful flesh (Romans8:3) was crucified under Pontius Pilate (Mark 15:15) and hung on a tree -cursed is he who hangs on a tree. (cross) Galatians 3:13)
His shed blood is our atonement for the forgiveness of sins.( Romans 5:11, Matthew 26:28)
He died on the cross, was buried and rose again on the 3rd day. ( John 2:19, 2 Corinthians 5:15, Matt.17:23, Matt.16:21, Matt. 20:19, Mark 9:31, Acts 10:40)
He ascended up to heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Acts 7:55-56, Romans 8:34,Ephesians 1:20, Colossians 3:1)
If we confess that Jesus is Lord and believe the Gospel that has been preached then we will be saved. (Romans 10:9, 1 John 4:15)
His perfect sacrifice was accepted by the Father to atone for the sins of the world.(Romans 1:4, Hebrews 9:11-12)
He is our High Priest. (Hebrews 4:14-15 Hebrews 6:20)
We are justified and righteous because of the righteousness that has been imputed to us by his Son when we believed on him and will not see the wrath of the Father but have eternal life with him. John 3:16, Romans 10:9 , 1 Corinthians 15 1-4.
1) You think Mary's virginity is a tenet of salvation.
2) You think Pilate is a tenet of salvation
3) You think a verbal confession will save you.
All I'm asking is did Jesus teach these things?

1)Do you have a problem with Jesus being God manifest in the flesh? The Virgin birth speaks of him being begotten of the Father, proving he was not only fully man but fully God! That is part of the Good news.
2)The Governor of Judea deemed him innocent . He washed his hands of the innocent BLOOD of Jesus. Seems a part of the Good news to me. Jesus was innocent according to the Chief Administrator of Roman Law. A Roman governor was an official either elected or appointed to be the chief administrator of Roman law throughout one or more of the many provinces constituting the Roman Empire. A Roman governor is also known as a propraetor or proconsul.
3)Confess him as Lord..is he ? That is up to you to decide who you say he is. If you have a problem, take it up with God. It is in the scriptures. I didn't write them, Jesus taught his Apostles including Paul! and they wrote the NT. If you truly believe Jesus is Lord, you are going to naturally call him Lord with your mouth. Just like you would call your parents Mom or Dad. It's natural because they ARE.
Here is the Words of Jesus himself..take it for what you will. Matthew 10:.32 Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
Luke 12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.
8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.
10 And whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemeth against the Holy Ghost it shall not be forgiven.
On the other hand you have Jesus saying; Not everyone who calls me "Lord" will be saved.

And why was that? Because iniquity was found in them..Did they do the Will of the Father? No..they were false disciples.
They pleaded with him about THEIR works...not trusting the Gospel ..HIS finished WORK. Did they say, "Lord! you died for me! I trusted in your blood for the remission of sins!" No, they didn't. It was all about them.
Mt.7 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

It was in my memory bank of course since I went to church on a regular basis with my grandmother all those moldable years but that night that I was forever changed , it was about his blood for the remission of my sins because of their burden. I knew about the Virgin birth, His broken body on the cross because he loved me that much , I knew already about Pilate, about Jesus as God in the flesh, etc..
I put it here for others if they have not been raised in a Christian home. There may be people on here raised by Atheists that see this. I took alot of time putting scripture references together so they could look them up easily and see for themselves.

I am saved by Jesus Christ , the Son of the living God.
I thank my God for having his Word at my disposal to give me daily sustenance. What an honor to read about him and his place in history that is tied so closely with mine. He lives in me and I in him. I will cherish my LORD forever! I am grateful to know about him, how he came to be my Savior , how he died , was buried and how he rose again. Wow! Isn't that good news!
Grace and Zech have called me some very nice names such as:**PROPHYLACTIC** **IGNORANT** **STUPID** **STOOPID** **CHILD OF HELL** **HYPOCRITE** **PETTY** **TRIVIAL** **IDIOTIC** even though about 95 percent of my posts are the Living and Enduring Words of God. But they were very careful not to call me a **FOOL**!! which is understandable; for Jesus says in Matthew 5:23: "And anyone who says **YOU FOOL** will be in danger of the fire of hell!"
But according to Webster's dictionary calling some an **IDIOT** is exactly the same as calling someone a **FOOL** since they are exact **SIN**ONYMS**!!
Matthew 5:11-12: Jesus says, "Blessed are you when people insult you and persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of Me. **REJOICE** and **BE GLAD** because great is your **REWARD**in heaven!"
Zech refuses to accept any criticism for saying we are saved by our own good works or that Jesus is not God or that the writings of Paul, which is half of the New Testament, is not inspired by God. And anyone who does is a complete **IDIOT**!!
2 Timothy 3:15,16: 4:1,2: You have known the **HOLY SCRIPTURES**, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. **ALL SCRIPTURE IS GOD-BREATHED** and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of His appearing and His kingdom, I give you this charge: **PREACH THE WORD**!! {**WHICH IS THE ENTIRE NEW COVENANT AND NEW TESTAMENT**!!} Be prepared in season and out of season, correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people {Like Zech} will not put up with sound doctrine!!
