The Preterists like KJVonly believe that every prophecy in the Mount of Olives prophecies in Matthew 24 and 25, Mark 13 an Luke 21 and every prophecy in Revelation were totally completed in AD 70??? The Preterists also believe that that all the words in the New Testament are inspired by God.

Let us quote one of the prophecies in in Matthew 25 that could not have happened in ad 70!!

Matthew 25:31-34,41,46: Jesus prophesied, "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before Him, an He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates his sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. **THEN** the King will say to those on his right. Come, you are blessed by My Father ; take your inhreritance , the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world... "Then He will say to those on His left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared fror the Devil and his angels....**THEN** they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life!"

There are about 20 prophecies in the New Testament that absolutely could not have happened in AD 70 so apparently the Preterists are **FALSE PROPHETS OF SATAN**!!

Salvation is truly not by works but by Crist, received by faith. But to make salvation dependent on correct knowledge is to make salvation dependent on a work.

Equally true is that God does want us to grow in grace and knowledge.

2Pet 3:18  But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Col 1:9  For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that you might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding

When a baby is born, do they really know anything? Could they do anything? If we attribute anything to ourselves, then salvation is not by Crist, not by grace, not by faith.
