Sin leads to death, receive the Power of the Holy Spirit and overcome your sins. Not one, but all. Ask the Lord to reveal your unseen sins. Always be ready to learn and improve.
We all should be conscious of when under conviction of sin that we don't use a diversion such as humor rather than admitting our actions, choosing to change our mind about what we've been doing, making any necessary amends and implement a path of change to eventually achieve the right actions.

There are many diversions people use to avoid personal repentance; denial, humor and the greatest is the judgment of others. It is a twisted form of self righteousness; where the individual focuses on false or true faults in others then compares themselves to them.

You will see people like Dr. James White promoting the NASB and NIV which are catholic doctrinal books but claims the KJV is catholic in source (which is isn't! Tyndale translated it , then prior to that it was Erasmus then prior to that is was Jerome -none of them used the Latin Vulgate which is a Catholic source... but you can do a google search and look who promotes White's books and they are Jesuits or Roman Catholics like Geisler who endorsed Whites book on the cover.
