⚠️King James ONLY - all others 🐍SATANIC🐍Translations⚠️

Hey, just going off memory here; BUT; the King James had some predecessors which it relied on heavily. The Bishops Bible, the Geneva Bible and of course the likes of John Wycliffe, Jan Hus and William Tyndale ..............................................................................................

Interesting to note is the Mayflower pilgrims and other abhorred and rejected the King James translation. They used the Geneva Bible. It's a great Bible but the study notes being anti-Catholic made it controversial in the day. Do King James wanted the same Bible without the notes and therefore financed one; now affectionately known as the 1611 - because there have been about eight revisions since 1611 ....................................................................................................................

The Greek Texts gathered up for the King James translation (the Textus Receptus - the received text) no longer exist. The 1611 translations stated in their Forward/Preface that if a better translation is needed in the future, then by all means make one! ...................................................................................................................

Well it's 400 years later, the small hand full of texts know as the Textus Receptus is lost and we now have over 5000 Texts discoveries in the last 400 years - it's time for a new translation! The King James translators, if they were here, would agree! ....................................................................

yet their are King James Onlyism people that teach when the KJ was translated God corrected all the mistakes in the Greek and Hebrew Texts..........................................:.:................................................:..:..........

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge - Hosea 4:6

Graceworks;

No not from NJ but from a race of people who employ sarcasm regularly.

As for those who think it is NOT from God, I couldn't disagree more.

To prove our point we should start a thread with nothing but ALL the sarcastic passages in the Bible!

KING JAMES ONLY GIRL -

Pleeeease, if you can't state it yourself you don't enough to believe if it's true. No cut and paste articles.

I didn't read it BUT..... if you want I can tear it apart line by line - will that convince you?

My time is precious and I'm not going to waste it - but if you want, we can go over your article together- let me know.

King James Only Gal;

I just glanced at your pasted article. Your kidding right?

You'd do much better to actually study rather than reading NWO and occultist witch hunt propaganda.

Sigh, your going to make me get my glasses and my NKJV apparatus to help you see why things are as they are.

King James Only Gal:

Your first Scripture: 1 Corinthians 1:18 saved vs being saved. It can be translated either way and there are good reasons for both so it depends on your theology.

However......

Before you jump the gun making accusations of occult tampering you better read Rom 5:9 and 1 Thess 5:9-10 in your 1611 KJV which refer to the process of salvation.

I'm so tired of doing homework for other people. KJ Gal did you even research the verses in this article to see if they were true or did you just accept it and paste it? Then someone like me has to come clean up your mess? Come on.

What about the BLOOD being removed from scripture?

There is POWER in the BLOOD for remission of sins. That has to do with salvation.

Maybe that is why you need a KJV or a Tyndale or some other good translation to help you with that. I will pray real HARD for you tonight.

Gonna be up til 3 am again. So be it , then!!

Tyndale quickly showed a talent for Hebrew, Greek, Latin and several modern European languages including German, French, Italian and Spanish. As a scholar and a linguist, it was natural for him to want to translate the Bible into English. But translating the Bible into English was still regarded as heresy, and the Bible in English was still a banned book. Tyndale told the Church leaders of the day about his desire to translate the Bible into English, and he was met with hostility, animosity and bitter hatred. In a clash with an ordained clergyman, Tyndale issued his immortal words:

I defy the Pope, and all his laws, and if God spare my life, ere many years, I will cause a boy that driveth the plough shall know more of the Scriptures than thou dost. (William Tyndale)

William Tyndale's translating abilities were outstanding. Many other English Bible versions were to come on the scene following his death. But none of these versions ever matched the quality of Tyndale's Bible -- except those that included Tyndale's work verbatum. It has been said that 90% of Tyndale's work ended up in the King James Version, which was published some 75 years later. His decision to use original Hebrew and Greek texts, not the Latin Vulgate or some other translation, made for a Bible that was highly accurate. And his skillful translating ability made a Bible that was easily readable. It is with great respect for his devotion and committment that William Tyndale is called "The Father of the English Bible."

As Tyndale was dying, as he gasped his last dying breaths, even as copies of his New Testament were rolling off the printing press into the hands of eager readers of the Bible, Tyndale uttered a final heart-felt prayer to the God of Heaven whom he had served, and to whom he had laid down his life in the ultimate sacrifice:

Lord, open the eyes of the king of England! (William Tyndale)

Just as Tyndale's former prayer was answered, that a boy that driveth the plough would know more of the Scriptures than the Church authorities, so too was Tyndale's latter prayer answered in full measure. The tide of history was changing. Soon, in England, followed by the entire English-speaking world, the Bible (in English) would be respected, treasured, promoted and honoured. Wycliffe and Tyndale gave their lives for this moment. Their memories live on, their work remembered, their sacrifice not in vain, and their Bibles forming an immortal chain of jewels that would lead to God's Word being an unstoppable witness against this evil and adulterous generation.

"What about the BLOOD being removed from scripture?"

You don't make it easy on a guy - no Scripture references ?

I'll see what I can do.

Btw, I have so many translations, reference material and academic books that they don't all fit in one room. Therefore telling me to get another translation is well, idk, I suppose I could when another comes out. I think I have most of them.

Alright, I'll go back to your post and try to figure out what Book & chapter cause your article doesn't list them.

@ King James Only Gal

"What about the BLOOD being removed from scripture?"

The verse you seem to be referencing is Colossians 1:14

The NKJV retains "through His blood" because it is based on the TR. However it's Critcal Apparatus tells us "through His blood" is absent from the NU and the MT.

In other words "through His blood is a minority reading. It is absent in the oldest copies of Scripture (typ NU) and is absent from the Majority of the Byzantine copies of Scripture (MT) which most closely resemble the TR.

The bottom line is evidence supports "through His blood" is actually an addition.

The reason it is probably an addition is the same reason you can't say it is occult tampering:

If you go to Ephesians 1:7 "through His blood is in EVERY translation. This is a common occurrence with scribes copying texts. They know passages by heart and the accidentally fill in a word or phrase because it is a passage almost identical with another passage in Scripture.

1)So we now know it it is not occult tampering because it exists in Ephesians 1:7 in all translations

2) Since it's missing from the Oldest and the Majority of all Scripture copies means it's likely s addition

3) Since there is another passage almost word for word like it we can see how it got accidentally added.

Okay now it your turn: I have homework for you - next post

King James Only Gal

Okay, I've done the homework on two verses for you. Now I'm going to ask to do homework on one verse:

Tell me WHY the KJV Rev 22:19 reads:

"Book of Life"

rather than the other translations which read:

"Tree of Life"

The question isn't which one is right. The question is WHY does the KJV say "Book" instead of "Tree".

Revelations 3:5 “The one who conquers will be clothed in white garments and I will never blot his name out of the book of life.”

A book came from a papyrus plant .

In the Book of Revelation, a Koine Greek phrase xylon zoës is mentioned 3 times. This phrase, which literally means "wood of life" is translated in nearly every English Bible version as "tree of life", see Revelation 2:7,

Genesis 2:9

And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired--good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity.
