The Grace guy has it right, but you misunderstand him.
The 'institutional organization' called Church(s) is man made (or man divided) each with their own Leaders. Jesus's community of believers transcends Churches. They have only Jesus as their head. They are like a flock of birds following an unseen master spirit.
