This causes the sun to rise in the spring in a new constellation about every 2000 years" as if that is even possible for the earth to spin and water yet stay level! Lol!

And that's not even the real funny part because people actually believe you can BEND water and make it stick to a spinning ball with like a conscience like GRABBITY. Ummm "gravity" is yet a theory people and has NOT been proven by SCIENCE! Yup, its true!

Oooh where does it all begin? Genesis of course!
Genesis 1:2 "And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face (surface) of the waters."
So it seems clear to me the earth had no form yet and void of anything but submerged in water. No light source yet to even light up the depths of the waters, nor the earth. Shortly now time on earth, as we know it will begin in next verse!
Genesis 1:3 "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light."
So now we have a sun (that divided light from darkness vs 4) and obviously He puts it in motion because verse 5 tells us on that first Creation DAY that "the evening and (plus) the morning were the first DAY." Cannot have time without the movement of the Sun I'm thinking. So time begins as we know it across the flat plane of the earth. We should always remember that a day begins at dawn and ends at dusk! NO NO, I know ROME tells us it begins in the middle of the night. Those silly pagans, LOL! Even more funny is the present day Jews teach that a day begins at sundown!? Double LOL!! So comprehend this sillyness, that when it begins to grow dark (sundown) a "DAY" begins??? Not hardly, if we use common sense of what the definition of a DAY is.
Ok lets move on with time. So only one light source is mentioned in verse 3 and 4. I'm thinking I know now that the sun tells me when a day begins and ends but the sun does NOT tell me where I'am in the moonth. Right? So I need another clock to help me with that. Verse 14 helps me with my problem and solves it when it talks about plural lights!
Genesis 1:14 "And God said, Let there be lights (plural) in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:" So obviously to me the moon is not lit until sometime after verse 3 and on because I need a clock to tell me where I'am at every moonth. Look up the definition of "month" and it comes from the word moon
or as I say moonth! Now the stars (ornaments in the firmament, all moving together, some roaming!) give light and tell me where I'm at in the year, as well as spring, summer, fall and winter but not so much about the moonth. But the quarter phases of the moon do and there are 4! Obviously to me (after watching soooo many years now) the dark moon(s) is the new moon Scripture tells us about and that begins the moonth. I mean if the first moonth of Creation began with a non lit new moon, all others will also. Right?
So to me the sun tells when a DAY begins, the moon tells me when a moonth begins and ends and the stars (verse 16) tell me where I'am in the year, along with obviously spring, summer, fall and winter, There is also change in the sun's "orbit" or "circuit" above me that makes the changes from spring to summer to fall and to winter because it makes a tighter circle above me in spring to summer and finally outer circle from fall to winter in my location on the plane.
Lets discuss more of the interesting Genesis 1:14 next time, because atheists LOVE to make fun of Christians when they say "you worship a silly G_d that makes a sun on day one and another on day four" they proudly state, there is only one sun! Do you have an answer for them? Every Christian should but its a fact they just ignor the question and look like fools to the atheists! OUCH!

I do not have a pilot license but have flown and landed his Cessna a couple of times. They cannot take his license away now for letting me fly his Cessna. Landing is the hard part! There is a saying with pilots! Take offs are optional but landings are mandatory.

Okay Teddyhug, I read your posts. And to be honest, I don't remember if the window was totally flat. I have been up in a Cessna, a Piper cub and another Piper. I don't remember checking out the horizon. However, I did climb the second highest mountain in the Continental United States. It was s clear day and at the top I had lots of time sit and look. Yes, I could see the curvature of the earth.
We still have to deal with satellites, planets, and the moon being a sphere
And it being light or dark on the opposite side of the planet; a mere phone call will prove that.
The sun and moon being larger at rising and setting do to the magnification of a rounded atmosphere.
We have gravitational tides which correspond to the moons position.
And lastly you mentioned Australia. The toilet water spins the opposite way south of the equator, how do you explain that?

For now , I have to say I remember going in person to lookout mountain TN with my late husband before he died of cancer and it was late fall or early winter so visibility was not great at all. The vegetation was dead or dormant by then. But you can do a quick google image search and you can see 7 states...alabama, georgia, s. carolina , n. carolina, ky va and tn. The images are clear and the horizon looks flat.

The Hebrew word for **MONTH** in the OT is always **CHODESH** and the Hebrew word for **MOON** is always **YAREACH**. However 7 times in the OT the words **NEW MONTH** are wrogly translated **NEW MOON** in Psalm 81:3, Isaiah 1:14; Isaiah 66:23; Ezekiel 46:1; Ezekiel 45:6; Hosea 5:7 and Amos 3:5:
For example in Isaiah 1:14: {The Lord said:} "Your **NEW MOON**{Should be **NEW MONTH**} feasts and your appointed feasts I hate with all My being!"
And in the New testament the words **NEW MONTH** is wrongly used one time in Colossians 2:16:; Do not let anyone judge you by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a regious festival, a **NEW MOON** {Should be **NEW MONTH**} celebration or a **SABBATH DAY**! The Greek word for **MOON** is **SELENE** but in Colossians 2:16 above the Greek word **NEOMENIA** is used which means **NEW MONTH**!!
The reason for these obviously wrong translations is that after the Babylonian exile the Jews wrongly adopted the Babylonian Moon calendar where a new month always starts on the first day of a **NEW MOON**.and the first Babylonian **MOON MONTH ** is called **NISAN**. Whereas God had commanded that.the first Bible month shall be called **ABIB** and is always on the first day of **SPRING** {ABIB means **SPRING**} which is always from sundown, March 20th to sundown, March 21st. And the 2nd Bible month is always 30 days later or sundown, April 19th to sundown, April 20th!! Whereas in the Babylonian Moon Calendar you have alternating 29-day and 30-day months since there is a **NEW MOON** every 29 1/2 days.
Actually before the Babylonian capture of Israel God commanded that the 1st day of the first Bible month was the first day of Abib which is always from sundown March 20th to sundown March 21st and after the Babylonian exile Israel sinfully adopted the evil Babylonian Moon Calendar and their evil first month of Nisan which is a calendar completely regulated by the moon and the first day of Nisan was the first day of the new moon instead of the first day of Abib which is always from sundown March 20th to sundown March 21st.
Numbers 28:16: {The Lord said} “On the 14th day of the **FIRST MONTH** the Lord’s Passover is to be held.” Exodus 12:6,7,12,13: “Take care of them {The Passover Lambs} until the 14th day of the month when all the people of Israel must slaughter them {See Lev 23:5} at Twilight {Just after sundown to nightfall on Passover Day! 1 Cor 5:7: “For Christ our PASSOVER LAMB has been sacrificed.” Whereas the Jews {who were following the evil Babylonian moon calendar} held their Passover on the 15th of Nisan {Which always occurs on the night of a full moon} and observed the Passover on the WRONG DAY as per John 18:28: “Then the Jews led Jesus from Caiaphas to the palace of the Roman Governor {Pilate}. So we can assume that the month of ABIB is different from the Babylonian moon month of Nisan and therefore has nothing to do with the moon.

These passages explicitly say the waters were strong for 150 days or 5 30-day months, and then marks out a 5 {30-day} month difference from the 17th of the second month to the 17th of the seventh month.
By comparing Rev 13:5 and Daniel 7:25 we know that 666 will rule the world for 42 months which is also time 12 months, times {24 months} amd 1/2 a time {6 months} which would be the exact same period of time. And by comparing Revelation 12:6 with Revelation 12:14 we know that Time {360 days} times {720 days] and 1/2 a time {180 days] and 1260 days is also the exact same period of time. And therefore 42 30-day Bible months are also 1260 days.
Revelation 13:5 The Beast {666} wilkl exercise his authority for 42 {30-day} months . Which is also 1260 days!!
Amd so the OT and NT both have 30-day months!! And the first Bible Month shoud be called ABIB or Spring and is always sundown, March 20th to sundown March 21st and has absolutely nothing to do with the evil Babylonian Moon Calendar!!
