Jesus used to always say; "he who has ears, let them hear"
Yet Christians immersed in the distorted views of Paul's letters seem to have lost their ears; they don't seem to listen. They want to be heard, yet refuse to hear.

Jesus is called **GOD** 7 times in God's Word and is called **LORD** over 200 times in the New Testament, and is **WORSHIPED** 12 times in the New Testament, and God's Word tells us to only **WORSHIP GOD**!!
And in Hebrews 1:1-3,6,8; Paul is inspired to write: "In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom He made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word... God says, "Let all God's angels **WORSHIP HIM**!!" and about His Son God says, "**YOUR THRONE**, **O GOD** will last for ever and ever!!"
Revelation 3:21,22: Jesus says, "To him who overcomes, I will give the right to sit with Me on **MY THRONE**, just as I overcame and sat down with **MY FATHER ON HIS THRONE**!!
Isaiah 9:6,7: For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, **MIGHTY GOD** and Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David's **THRONE** and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and **FOREVER**. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this!
John 1:1-4: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the **WORD WAS GOD** He was with God in the beginning. **THROUGH HIM** all things were made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
Colossians 1:15-18: The Son is the image of the invisible God. John 20:27-29: Jesus said to Thomas, "Put your finger her, see My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe." Thomas said to Jesus, "**MY LORD** and **MY GOD**!: Then Jesus told him, Because you have seen Me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet believed!"
Philippians 2:5-11: Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus. Who being in very nature **GOD**, did not consider **Equality with God something to be grasped... He humbled Himself--even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him a name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that**JESUS IS LORD**, to the glory of God the father!!
Colossians 2:9,10: For in Christ **ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE DEITY LIVES** in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the **HEAD**over every power and authority!!
I John 5:20: We know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know Him {The *FATHER*} who is true. and we are in Him who is true by being in **HIS SON** Jesus Christ. He is **TRUE GOD** and eternal life!!
The Orginal Post heading up this thread is about the Oral Law. Basically what the Pharisees did was use certain Scripture verses while ignoring others to put themselves in a position of power to interpret all verses according to their preconceived doctrines. This is "Oral Law".
Now the interesting thing is; the system that the Jews call Oral Law is the same kind of system Christians call "Church Tradition". They use certain verses primarily from Paul's letters to create doctrines Jesus never taught. Then they denigrate and excommunicate any who disagree with them.
If Jesus were in the flesh today, I find it highly likely these same "spouter of lies" (DSS) would declare Jesus a heretic.

Another form of Oral Torah is being repeated today in Christianity; it's called "Systematic Theology". This is where Christians make Scripture into a mathematical equation by using the Catholic doctrine that all Scripture is equal, therefore all conflicts can be balanced or reasoned out and new doctrines can be created.
This Christian Neo-Pharisees postulate since all Scripture is equal, they can add x to y and add z and come up with a new doctrine which you must believe or be condemned to hell.

In the Old Testament you could divorce your wife for almost any reason by just giving her a certificate of divorce as per Deuteronomy 24:1,3. Actually it is almost impossible in the New Testament to divorce your wife if she is a believer, since Jesus also said in Matthew 18:22 that you should forgive your brother or wife not 7 times but 77 times which can also be translated 7 times 70 times!!
And according to I Corinthians 7:12-15 you can only divorce an unbelieving wife **IF SHE LEAVES YOU* even though you have been a good husband.
I Corinthians 7:12,13,15: If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, **HE MUST NOT DIVORCE HER**. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, **SHE MUST NOT DIVORCE HIM**!... But if an unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances. God has called us to live in peace! {THIS COMPLETELY CHANGES OT LAW ON DIVORCE**!!}
In the Old Testament King David had 8 wives and Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines without any penalty??? But in the New Testament you can have only **ONE WIFE**!!As per I Corinthians 7:2; ! Timothy 3:2,12 and Titus 1:6.

I suppose I would be kicked out of the church because I teach that sinners DO NOT get eternal life in a fire when they die. Imagine painting a picture (teaching like the baptist church does yet today) of the Creator doing such a thing FOREVER, for what they did for a lifetime of less than usually a hundred year lifespan.

In the OT God ordered Israel to kill their enemies many times and God helped them do it. However in the NT Jesus commands in:
Luke 6:27-29: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also."
Matthew 5:43,44: Jesus says, "You have heard that is was said, {in the OT} 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you. love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven!!"
Whereas in the OT in Leviticus 26:7,8: God said to Israel, "You will pursue your enemies, and they will fall by the **SWORD** before you. Five of you will chase a hundred, and a hundred of you will chase ten thousand, and your enemies will fall by the **SWORD** before you!"
Numbers 25:16,17" The Lord said to Moses, "Treat the Midianites as enemies and kill them!"
Deuteronomy 6:18,19: Do what is right and good in the Lord's sight, that it may go well with you and you may go in and take over the good land the Lord has promised on oath to your ancestors, **THRUSTING OUT ALL YOUR ENEMIES BEFORE YOU**, as the Lord said!
Deuteronomy 23:14: For the Lord your God moves about in your camp to protect you and to deliver your enemies to you!
Deuteronomy 28:7 The Lord will grant that your enemies who go up against you will be defeated before you!
Deuteronomy 30:7: The Lord your God will put all these curses on your enemies who hate and persecute you!
Another OT command that was **COMPLETELY CHANGED BY JESUS** is in Exodus 21:23-25 "If there is serious injury, you are to take life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, bruise for bruise."

Give to everyone who asks you, and if someone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back!"

Matthew 18:21,22: Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister {or wife} who sins against me? Up to 7 times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you not 7 times but 77 times!" {Also can be translated 70 times 7 times!}
I Peter 3:9: Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called that you may **INHERIT A BLESSING**!
Matthew 5:9: Jesus the **PRINCE OF PEACE** says, "Blessed are the **PEACEMAKERS**, for they will be called the **CHILDREN OF GOD**!"

John 15:12-14: Jesus says, "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: **TO LAY DOWN ONE'S LIFE FOR ONE'S FRIENDS**. You are My friends **IF** you do what I command!!"
John 10:11: Jesus says, "I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd lays down His life for His sheep!"
I John 4:10:11: This is love: Not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son as the **ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS. Dear friends, since God so loved us, *WE ALSO OUGHT TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER**!
Isaiah 53:5,6: But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all!!
Now **SAD**lup and Satan teach that Jesus is not God and that our great God and Savior Jesus Christ did not make atonement for our sins!!
I Peter 2:24,25: He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we may die to sins and live for righteousness; "By His wounds we are healed," {Quoting Isaiah 53:5} For you were like sheep going astray, but now you have returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your souls!!
