In the Beginning mankind had one instruction; Don't eat from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. After failing to follow one instruction they were cast out and followed no instructions, no Law. Then because of their "Lawlessness" they were swept away in the Flood. After the Flood, mankind was again given instructions/Law. Mankind again failed to follow them and were cast out on the earth and God made a people for himself through Abraham. They also were given instructions/Law which they didn't follow and were cast out of the Land. When they came back they were so determined to keep Gods instructions and Law that they created instructions and Laws not given by God. Jesus came preaching repentance and a return to keeping God's instructions/Law through and by faith rather than legalism. Followers of Jesus are now split into two groups:
1)Those making up new instructions/Law (Nicene creed and other creeds).
2) Those saying the Law is revoked and embracing "Lawlessness".
WHY DOESN'T ANYONE JUST SIMPLY FOLLOW GOD'S SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS AS JESUS TAUGHT?
I know we tried to have a conversation. Unfortunately there is a bully in this section. I even asked him not to reply but to start another thread so that we could discuss. But he refuses, so I'm going to call it quits. No matter how many halo smileys and hearts you put after your post it doesn't change that it is pure harassment. This is not Godly whatsoever.

**HOWEVER**: **JESUS MADE MANY AMAZING AND TOUGHER CHANGES TO OLD TESTAMENT MARRIAGE, ADULTERY AND DIVORCE LAWS ***THAT WERE **MUCH MORE LAWLESS*** THAN THE NEW LAWS OF OUR GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST**!!
Matthew 5:27,28: Jesus says, "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall not commit adultery.' But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already **COMMITTED ADULTERY** with her in his heart."{This sin is never even mentioned in the Old Testament!}
**THIS WOULD INCLUDE PICTURES OR VIDEOS OF A WOMAN ON TELEVISION OR THE INTERNET OR IN PORNOGRAPHY**!!
Matthew 19::3-9: Some Pharisees came to Jesus to test Him. They asked, "Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any and every reason?" "Haven't you read," Jesus replied, "That at the beginning the Creator made them male and female' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife and the two will become one flesh.' So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefor what God has joined together, let no one separate." Why then the Pharisees asked, did Moses command that a man give his wife a certificate of divorce and send her away?" Jesus replied, "MOSES PERMITTED YOU TO DIVORCE YOUR WIVES BECAUSE **YOUR HEARTS WERE HARD**, but it was not this way from the beginning. But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife except for sexual immorality, and marries another woman commits adultery!!!"
In the Old Testament you could divorce your wife for almost any reason by just giving her a certificate of divorce as per Deuteronomy 24:1,3. Actually it is almost impossible in the New Testament to divorce your wife if she is a believer, since Jesus also said in Matthew 18:22 that you should forgive your brother or wife not 7 times but 77 times which can also be translated 7 times 70 times!!
And according to I Corinthians 7:12-15 you can only divorce an unbelieving wife **IF SHE LEAVES YOU* even though you have been a good husband.
I Corinthians 7:12,13,15: If any brother has a wife who is not a believer and she is willing to live with him, **HE MUST NOT DIVORCE HER**. And if a woman has a husband who is not a believer and he is willing to live with her, **SHE MUST NOT DIVORCE HIM**!... But if an unbeliever leaves, let it be so. The brother or the sister is not bound in such circumstances. God has called us to live in peace!

In the Old Testament King David had 8 wives and Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines without any penalty??? But in the New Testament you can have only **ONE WIFE**!!As per I Corinthians 7:2; ! Timothy 3:2,12 and Titus 1:6.
**THIS COMPLETELY CHANGED OT MARRIAGE LAWS**!!
In the OT rich people like Solomon could also afford to have **MANY CONCUBINES** which they could have sex with, without any penalty???
2 Samuel 5:13 - "After he left Hebron, David took more concubines and wives in Jerusalem, and more sons and daughters were born to him."
Matthew 22:36-40: A Pharisee asked Jesus: "Teacher, which is the greatest commandment of the Law?" Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and **GREATEST** commandment. And the **SECOND** is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments!"
And then Jesus also changed the **SECOND GREATEST COMMANDMENT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT IN:
John 13:34,35: Jesus says, "A **NEW COMMAND**I give you: **LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS I HAVE LOVED YOU**, so should you love one another, By this every one will know that you are My disciples!!"
John 15:12-14: Jesus says, "My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: **TO LAY DOWN ONE'S LIFE FOR ONE'S FRIENDS**. You are My friends **IF** you do what I command!!"
John 10:11: Jesus says, "I am the good Shepherd. The good Shepherd lays down His life for His sheep!"
I John 4:10:11: This is love: Not that we loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son as the **ATONING SACRIFICE FOR OUR SINS. Dear friends, since God so loved us, *WE ALSO OUGHT TO LOVE ONE ANOTHER**!
Isaiah 53:5,6: But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. We all, like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all!!
Now **SAD**lup and Satan teach that Jesus is not God and that our great God and Savior Jesus Christ did not make atonement for our sins!!
